"apples! apples!"-my nephew's Mikey and Hunter said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :)a super fun, flour flying, spirit soaring, apples themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) We had the flour flying in the kitchen today, as we are celebrating a special countdown, to the fall season, and the upcoming 10th birthday of baking friday! :) We love getting into the spirit of the new season ,baking some nice wholesome treats :) one of our favorites this time of the year, is the scent of apples and cinnamon :) Come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked some nice apple cinnamon muffins, and baked apple turnovers pastries treats :) they came out great! :) our kitchen smells like apples and cinnamon! :) We love this time of the year, and the very special traditions, and festivities the season brings :) it's one of our favorite joys, blossoming into some super fun baking :) it's that time of the year, apple orchards beginning to open, and lots of spirited joys, as we approach closer to the arrival of fall season :) Lots of very special memories to be made :)

my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a wonderful day :) We think of you all often :) This morning, we had a sweet new morning, rising and shining :) it was a nice chilly crisp morning, with a golden bright sunrise :) i love to wish my family and friends, a happy baking friday, and i share with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :)Thank you everyone, so very much! :) We've been looking forward to baking goodies, and getting into the spirit of the approaching fall season :) We have baking friday's 10th birthday coming up, and lots more seasonal baking friday adventures planned, leading us into the fall season/halloween season :) it's so much fun, all of the festivities, and traditions :)

i love cool crisp mornings, and gathering a big bowl of goodies, for our nature friends, and going outside for my early morning nature walk :) our nature friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, and checked our plants too :) they're doing really well, and soaking up lots of sunshine today :) we have more popcorn cobs growing, and with the warmth in our area this week, the plants have been super mega growing :)

i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to decorate :) i decorated with a fall harvest theme today :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i thought it would be nice, to bake apple muffins, and apple turnovers too :) Kayla's been baking lots of goodies at high school, in culinary arts, and she and i have been talking about baking mini pumpkin pies soon :) The kids will have so much fun helping us bake the treats, in the upcoming weeks :) after i decorated our kitchen, i prepared a nice lunch, and enjoying some nice time here on ds this afternoon, and also had some nice talks with Holly :) She and i are very excited to cheer on our teams on sunday, with the big football games :) Shortly after 3pm, the kids were arriving home from school, and Alyssa and the triplets came over, and Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter arrived :)

there was lots of excitement in the air, as we were all gathering around, and getting ready to bake goodies :) we love the spirit of the season :) Hunter was saying, "Baking friday!!!" awww! :) the kids are so excited, for all of the excitement of the season :) We were getting all set, in the kitchen to bake :) We love to use our nice baking supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my apron, and we also use our oven mits, kitchen towels, all of our supplies are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) We've been enjoying a great season of baking, and it's very exciting that fall season is set to arrive very soon :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to get the flour flying in the air :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) we first began to prepare the apple cinnamon muffins :) The triplets were here, but they were into their video games/tv shows, but they are always welcome to come out into the kitchen to join in on the baking friday fun :) we were so happy Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter were here, they have been busy in recent weeks, but were so excited to come over for baking friday today :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best egg ever :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) She got the egg, and we began to add the ingredients :) it's a nice recipe :) 2 cups of flour, some brown sugar, 1 egg, some baking soda, cinnamon/all spice, plus 2 tablespoons of butter, sliced apples, a tablespoon of vanilla, and also a half cup of milk/half and half cream milk :)

We love adding the ingredients into the bowl, and super stirring :) We were getting the flour flying in the air, and sharing lots of smiles :) the kids are learning a lot about baking :) Kayla and i are very proud of them :) baking friday teamwork! :) my mom was coming out into the kitchen, and Jenn, and Alyssa went to the store for a little while :) Kayla and i were helping Mikey and Hunter prepare the apple cinnamon muffins :) We were so excited, for our 1st apple baking of the season :) i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we began to add the apple cinnamon muffins into the pan :) The muffins mix came out great, filled with lots of nice chunks of apples, and cinnamon :) i couldn't wait to smell the apple cinnamon muffins baking :) i put the muffins into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)

Within minutes, that sweet scent of apples and cinnamon muffins baking, filled our kitchen :) yum! :) as the muffins were baking, we began to prepare the apple turnovers :) it's really easy recipe :) Kayla and i helped Mikey and Hunter :) We had a can of apple pie filling :) we also had some biscuits in the can :) We flattened the biscuits, and then used a spoon to put some apple pie filling onto the biscuits dough, and folded it over :) i used butter to grease the pan :) we made lots of the apple turnovers :) i put the apple turnovers into the oven to bake :)

As the goodies were baking, we were all hanging out, and did some cleaning in the kitchen :) hunter was playing with the bottle of honey, he loves the bear that is the theme of the bottle of honey :) awww! :) he also loves the scarecrow decorative kitchen towel we have :) the apple cinnamon muffins, and apple turnovers finished baking :) i brought the goodies out of the oven to cool down :) the goodies came out great! :) i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping bake :) Kayla and i were talking about baking mini pumpkin pies soon :) it'll be a fun baking project for us all :) my mom had an apple turnover, and Jenn, Mikey and Hunter brought home some apple turnovers and muffins :) We had so much fun today, baking the apple cinnamon muffins, and apple turnovers :) We love these awesome times, and all of the great memories being made :) we have many more superf un baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) Lots of baking, and cooking this week :) We love hearing about the nice goodies you all cook and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our ktichens :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) Apple Cinnamon Muffins and Apple Turnovers, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and the spirit of the season : )We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) September 8th, 2017 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)

PRAYERS REQUEST. my family and i are keeping everyone who has been impacted, and in the potential path of hurricane irma, hurricane katia, and hurricane jose. we have been watching the news, coverage about the hurricanes. we wish everyone safety, and comfort. we have friends in Florida, and other states in the potential path of the storm. we're so hopeful, for everyone to be safe. one of our ds friends and her family are gonna ride out the storm at home. please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers. thank you angel friends, so very much. big group comforting friendship hug. i will be checking in on friends this weekend, into next week, hoping, and praying everyone is ok, and safe.

We're enjoying a super sweet day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) We love the spirit of the season, and all of the great special traditions, and festivities :) We're so excited, for the upcoming weekend :) We're gonna go shopping at the dollar tree tomorrow :) i'm going to buy some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) on sunday, it's gonna be a rocking football sunday, with lots of football games :) Holly and i are planning a big football party on sunday, and on sunday night, we're going to watch the new episode of fear the walking dead show on amc channel :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures and pictures with everyone in my journals :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch some episodes of most haunted show :) We love our friday night, paranormal party night's :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and very caring :) We deeply appreciate everything, w ith all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a nice weekend :)
