baking friday :) American Flag Cake, Raspberry Pie :)

"We're baking a cake!"- my little nephew's Colby, Brayden ,and Jacob said that today, during baking  friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, spirit soaring, RED, WHITE, and BLUE, Stars and Stripes, Happy 4th of July themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) awww! :) my family and i want to take this time, to wish everyone, a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy 4th of July holiday weekend :) As we get ready to gather with our loved ones, family, friends, and the spirit of the season, to celebrate America's birthday, the 4th of July :) We're with eachother in spirit :) Also, a very happy Canada day to our dear friends in Canada :) the summer time celebrations are on!!! :) woot!!! come on over, for some yummy baking friday goodies! :) today, we baked up some sweet treats, and we are ready for an incredible holiday weekend! :) 

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Kayla, Colby, Brayden, Jacob, and i baked an American flag cake, and a Raspberry pie, using fresh picked raspberries from our garden :) We're so very happy and excited! :) The 4th of July holiday weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) my family and i are thinking of you all, our dear angel friends, and we hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful day :) i've been continuing to check the Team DS updates on the daily strength members community support group. :) They mentioned some new updates, including in the upcoming weeks, we'll be able to upload pictures, and videos :) i took pictures of baking friday today, and will be uploading all of the pictures as soon as i can, here on DS :) 

This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) We've been looking forward to our annual, 4th  of July themed baking friday adventure :) It's so much fun, enjoying the spirit of summer time, and lots of great things going on :) We love celebrating the season with you all :) This morning, i wished my family and friends,  a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderfully sweet happy baking friday wishes :) thank you angel friends, so very much :) You all are so nice and sweet :)  We love this awesome day, and the arrival of the weekend is so exciting :) i began my day with a nice nature walk :) i've been putting lots of goodies around our yard, for our nature animal friends, and also checking in on our plants, and tending them :) 

Our plants and gardens are doing great :) i'm looking forward to sharing many many more pictures, and videos of our plants, and gardens very soon :) It's gonna be so nice :) the sunflowers and popcorn plants are growing very tall :) There's so many nice things to look forward too this summer season :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went shopping today, and picked up baking friday supplies :)it's so nice, and sweet of them :) 

this morning, i began to gather baking friday supplies, and decorations, Patriotic theme, with red, white, and blue, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) i had an awesome time decorating :) our kitchen  looked awesome! :) all set, and ready for the  4th of July holiday weekend :) There's lots of great excitement, this sweet weekend brings :) my family and i are pumped up and excited! :) i cooked a nice lunch today, and i also went back outside to tend our plants, and enjoyed another nature walk :) i've been seeing hummingbirds, butterflies, bumble bees, all visiting our yard, and garden :) The nature is incredible! :) i'm so happy and excited, for all of these very special nature joys of the gardening season :) 

During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, checking in on friends, the site updates, and also replied to some hugs, and messages :) i'm so thankful DS is back, and we're all getting to write to eachother :) You all are very special friends :) i'm so happy things are getting more and more better, as we all adapt to the new DS site, and i know with all of my heart, things are gonna be alright, and we'll all continue to get to share our days, adventures, support, birthday's, holidays, and lots more :) 

around 3pm, i began to gather some more baking friday supplies, and went back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) i've been picking some nice fresh raspberries from our garden, and we had enough to make a nice raspberry pie :) earlier in the day, i made 2 homemade pie crusts, with flour, olive oil, butter, a little sugar, and a half cup of water :) The pie crusts came out great! :) Alyssa and the triplets came over, after 2pm today, and we were all hanging out a bit in the living room, and kitchen too :) Mikey has been feeling under the weather a bit, and wasn't able to join us for baking friday today, but he did get medicine, and is on the mend, and is looking forward to re-joining us in the kitchen again soon :) 

Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, our kitchen decorations, our oven mits, aprons, kitchen towels, and lots more, that we have recieved over the years from family and friends :) These special supplies, are always a great part of our cooking, and baking each week :) Kayla, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i got our picture taken in the kitchen today :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) Our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready :) we were ready to bake! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake !bake! bake! :) 

We began our super fun adventure :)  i washed and sliced some strawberries, and also helped get the raspberry pie set :) We added in some white sugar, some raspberries, some oatmeal, some brown sugar, and the top of the pie crust :) i used a knife to get poke a few holes in the top of the pie, so that the pie could evenly bake :) i covered the pie with aluminum foil, so that the pie crust didn't burn in the oven. The raspberry pie was baking nicely :) it was then time, to prepare the American flag themed cake :) 

i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) we were so excited, the kids were cheering, and were being really good, and helping in the kitchen today :) Kayla and i are very proud of them :) Kayla picked out the 2 eggs, and we began to add the vanilla cake mix, and ingredients into the big bowl, for some super stirring! :) The kids love to help bake :) they get so proud, when they get to help, adding in the ingredients, and super stirring :) i got a nice baking pan, and used vegetable oil to grease the pan :) We were all sharing lots of smiles, while baking, the kids were so excited about baking a cake :) 

We poured the cake mix into the baking pan, and i then put the cake into the oven to bake :) as the cake and pie were baking, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over for a little while :) We could tell Mikey was a bit not well, as he was quiet, and was just sitting on the couch in the living room. he did get to play his video game a bit with Taylynn :) We were all hanging out :) the cake finished baking first :) i brought the cake out of the oven to cool down :) the pie baked nicely for a good hour :) it baked so nicely :) 

We got ready to decorate the cake :) Kayla and i spread the cool whip topping on the cake, and then used strawberries and blueberries to decorate the cake, An American flag theme :) it came out great! :) We're so proud! :) We're gonna have some cake and raspberry pie this weekend :) We love the 4th  of July holiday weekend :) i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping bake goodies :) We had lots of fun baking, and are looking forward to celebrating the holiday weekend with everyone, and many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too this summer season :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) it's been a big week. i'm so hopeful, all will be worked out soon, with the new DS, and that all will be organized, and working well again. i'd love to be able to read my full hugs, and to be able to remain logged in, and also to be able to upload pictures again. i'm taking pictures to share, and as soon as DS allows us to upload pictures, i'll definitely upload pictures :) The 4th of July holiday weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) my family and i are very excited about the weekend :) We're going shopping on saturday, at the dollar tree :) on sunday, i think we'll grill some hotdogs, and monday, we're gonna be hanging out, enjoying some fireworks shows on tv and on youtube :) We love the holiday weekends, and will be thinking of you all often :) You all are always in our thoughts, prayers, and in our hearts :) i look forward to sharing about our weekend adventures, in my journals :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 new episodes of "Most Haunted" show on youtube :) We love our friday night paranormal party night :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us : )You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful holiday weekend :)
