"the 4th of July is coming!"- my little nieces Kayla and Taylynn said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's summer time baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, 4th of July Stars and Stripes themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) Celebrating the summer season, and countdown to the 4th of July holiday! :) We turned our kitchen into a festive spirited display today, with our flags, and our baking friday supplies. :) this was awesome summer time fun! :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some cake with us! :) it's one of our favorite traditions, of the year! :) our annual 4th of July themed baking friday adventure! :) We were sharing smiles, laughs, and enjoying some fresh blueberries and cool whip topping in the kitchen today, as we baked a delicious cake. :) This is so much fun, and very special. :)
Summer time Traditions! :) We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and i, baked an American flag themed cake, and also made 6 jars of fresh homemade salsa! :) Cake, salsa, and chips! :) it's a summer time party rocking and rolling! :) whooo! :) my mom joined in on the baking friday fun this week. :) the other day, my mom baked some delicious pumpkin raisin bread with a sprinkle of confectionary sugar on the bread. :) mmm mmm! :) We've been enjoying the bread she baked. :) i said, "mom, i'm gonna mention in my journal, that you baked some nice bread!" :) She smiled :) awww! :) i am smiling and smiling! :) it's a beautiful day, with summer time joys, and lots and lots of great memories being made. :)
It's that time of the year! :) Summer season, and countdown to the 4th of July holiday! :) a very special, and joyful holiday. :) We're only 6 days away, from the 4th of July. :) it's a time of many sweet joys, from the wonderful festivities, traditions, and celebrations. :) BBQ cookouts, gardening, and nature joys, swimming, and gathering around, for the spectacular 4th of July fireworks shows. :) my family and i are so very happy, and excited to celebrate this amazing time of the year, with you and your family's :) We've been thinking of you all often today, and we hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day. :) i've got lots and lots of super cool baking friday pictures to share with everyone. :) With Kayla and Taylynn on their summer vacation now, we bake earlier on friday's, and this is the time of the year, when we have some of our longest baking friday adventures, as we get more time to bake. :) We had our 4th of July theme today, and next friday, the 300th baking friday adventure celebrating, a Campfire carnival theme we have planned. :) There's so much to look forward too, and the celebrations are just beginning! :)
This morning, a beautiful new summer day was rising and shining. :) We recieved some nice rain nourishment overnight. :) the plants are fully replenished from the nice rain. :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, all of your wonderful happy baking friday wishes. :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet. :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) i began my day with a nice early morning nature walk, during sunrise hour. :) i was feeding our nature animal friends, and checking in on our plants. :) We have a beautiful cosmo flower, and aster flower blossoming in our front yard garden areas. :) wow! :) this is so sweet! :) the season is flourishing. :)the plants are growing more and more each day. :) they've reached the sweet classic and golden summer growing zone! :) it's amazing to see, how much the plants have grown. :)
It was such a cool morning! :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa. :) they went to the grocery store this morning, and picked up baking friday supplies. :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We get so excited, when they arrive home with the supplies. :) thank you mom and Lisa, so very much! :) they help make baking friday possible each week. :) i gathered our baking friday kitchen decorations, our American flags, napkins, plates, and red, white, and blue necklaces, and ventured out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure. :) i love summer time when Kayla and Taylynn get to join in on the decorating fun. :) we love to decorate, turning our kitchen into a festive display. :) We put our lovely happy 4th of July card, that our dear and lovely friend Elizabeth (Horsebackrider123) created for us, and that she and her family sent us. :) our kitchen looked great! :) my mom, sister Lisa, and niece Alyssa were very excited to see our kitchen decorated. :) i cooked a nice lunch, and went outside for a little while to check in on the plants, enjoyed a few phone calls on the phone with friends, and spent some time here on ds, this early afternoon. :) after 1pm, i went back out into our kitchen, and got the oven ready. :)
Kayla and Taylynn were swimming, and i asked them if they were ready to bake, they said, sure! :) awww! :) we were gearing up, for our adventure. :) they said, 4th of July is coming soon! :) Taylynn loves blueberries and strawberries, she said, "can i have some! i said, sure you can!" :) awww! :) blueberries and strawberries are some of her favorite foods. :) The sweet excitement in the air, and in our kitchen, was awesome! :)
i wore my apron that our dear and lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) lovley mom sewn for me, plus we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and pot holders that we have recieved from friends, all around the world. :) each one, is very special, and unique. :) i sent texts to friends today to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, for the wonderful texts! :) You all are always with us in spirit in the kitchen during our adventures, and we're with you all in spirit too. :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) Earlier in the day, i had prepared our fresh homemade salsa. :) my dad bought some nice cans of diced tomatoes, we also had some bell peppers, frozen jalapeno peppers, an onion, and 2 cans of tomato paste to thicken the salsa. :) i got the salsa cooking in the huge cooking pot, earlier today, the fresh scent of salsa filled our kitchen. :) We love fresh homemade salsa. :) one of our favorite treats. :) We love being stocked up on jars of salsa in the fridge. :) the salsa was continuing to slow cook. :) Kayla, Taylynn, and i began to prepare the cake! :) one of our favorite cakes to bake, is the 4th of July American flag themed cake. :) it's a sweet treat, and awesome tradition for us each year, to bake this very special cake. :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :)
Kayla loves to pick out the eggs, and Taylynn was smiling, as she loves to be able to crack open an egg. :) Kayla opened the fridge, and selected the eggs. :) i got a huge bowl, and we were adding in the cake mix. :) We used nice vanilla cake mix. :) i love the scent of vanilla cake. :) Kayla and Taylynn are great helpers, they love to add in the ingredients to the bowl. :) we adde din the water, vegetable oil, and got 2 spoons, to super stir! and super stir! :) i was cheering on Kayla and Taylynn, as they stirred. :) they were doing very well! :) i was stirring the salsa that was cooking on the stove, and i also used butter to grease the baking pan. :) my mom and Lisa picked up 2 nice baking pans at the store. :) baking friday teamwork! :) i held the bowl of cake mix, and Kayla and Taylynn helped pour the cake into the baking pan, and evenly spread the cake mix amongst the pan. :) i then put the cake into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
We had a nice package of blueberries, and strawberries. :) we washed the strawberries, and then began to slice the strawberries in nice slices. :) Kayla and Taylynn helped, they were both very proud to help. :) We used butterknifes to slice the strawberries. :) i love the scent of fresh strawberries. :) it's like the scent of summer season! :) We were having so much fun! :) sharing some smiles, laughs. :) Kayla said, "this is eggs-cellent!" :) hehe! :) my mom and niece Alyssa were checking in on the baking friday fun. :) i mention to my family, about how many of our friends, all around the world, cook, and bake goodies. :) i always feel like we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens. :) the cake finished baking, i brought the cake out of the to cool down. :) Kayla and Taylynn went outside for a little while, they picked some raspberries. :) We have ripening raspberries in our garden, and will be able to bake a nice raspberry pie soon. :)
i did some cleaning up in the kitchen, i also jarred 6 jars of fresh homemade salsa. :) yum! :) the salsa cooked very nicely, my mom and i tried the salsa, it's great! :) once the cake had finished cooling down, we then began to get ready, to decorate. :) We love to decorate! :) We first spread cool whip topping on top of the cake. :) We then used blueberries, to make the stars on the cake, and we then used the slices strawberries, to make the red stripes on the cake. :) it came out awesome! :) wow! :) we're so happy and excited! :) Taylynn said, "lets show everyone the cake!" :) awww! :) we showed my mom, dad, Alyssa, and sister Lisa, when she arrived home from work. :) We're so proud, the cake came out so nice, everyone loves the cake. :) we had some extra strawberries leftover, i put the strawberries in the container for Taylynn, she's so happy! :) She said to my mom, "look nana, i got my own strawberries!" :) She loves those strawberries! :)
We had so much fun baking today, celebrating this very joyful adventure, and tradition. :) i thanked Kayla and Taylynn for helping, and i thanked my mom and sister Lisa again for picking up baking friday supplies. :) next friday, we're having a Carnival Campfire themed baking friday adventure. :) We're gonna turn our kitchen into a nature forest, and doing some baking, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and making smores, plus gonna have games for Kayla and Taylynn, with prizes to be won. :) it's gonna be awesome! :) There's many more super fun adventures to look forward too. :)

We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) We're so very happy, thankful, and blessed to have the wonderful opportunity to enjoy very special days, and times like this, celebrating joyful moments of the season with everyone. :) it's a really nice week, and lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) the gardening season is continuing to flourish, and the summer season is settling in nicely. :) this upcoming weekend, we have a nice wildcard weekend planned. :) We may go out to shop at the dollar store. :) my dad and i may also install my new air conditioner here in my computer room. :) i'm gonna continue to clean, and organize around my window area. :) it's coming along really well. :) i'm feeling a great spirit within,joyful times celebrating with family and friends. :)
if the weather is nice this weekend, i'd love to do some gardening. :) i want to plant some more sunflower seeds, and string beans seeds. :) i'm also gonna continue to train our string beans plants to grow amongst the garden fence. :) The season is coming along really well, i think we'll get lots of cucumbers, and also string beans to grow. :) our peppers plants, and tomato plants are flourishing too. :) We want to buy some nice tortilla corn chips, to enjoy with some fresh homemade salsa. :) It's gonna be a great summer weekend. :) i look forward to sharing our adventures with everyone in my weekend journals. :) There's lots more great things to look forward too. :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly. :) We love to talk, and watch ghost adventures. :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel. :) we watch 2 episode sof ghost adventures. :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) You all are very special friends, and are wonderfully nice, and sweet. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) we hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy weekend. :)
