"We're into summer baking!"- my nephew Hunter said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and red, white, and blue spirited, 4th of July themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!! :) summer time spirit, and celebrations of the season! :) it's a season of traditions, and awesome spirited times :) as we gear up for the big summer stretch, lots of times coming up, with holiday's, birthday's, and many more adventures :) We're counting down, to the 4th of July holiday next wednesday! :) The spirit of the season is all around :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully whlesome tradition :) today, Kayla, the kids, and i baked an American flag themed cake :) we're all getting ready for the big celebrations :) BBQ cookouts, pool party's, and fireworks shows :) the summer season is just beginning, and there's lots of great things going on :) as we gear up for the holiday's, and so much more, to share in :) We're with eachother in spirit :) We love this time of the year :) thank you and your family's for celebrating with us :)

my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful day :) We have a classic, and golden sunny summer day here :) we saw on the news, lots of very hot weather in many areas. we are hoping everyone is keeping cool, and hydrated. it could reach 100 degrees here on sunday, our 1st heatwave of the summer season. We're all doing well, and keeping cool, and hydrated :) There's lots of great things going on, as the season is blossoming :) we love looking forward to our annual summer time, 4th of July themed baking friday adventure :) it's one of our favorites each year :) It's amazing, how July is almost here :) We're so happy, and thankful to have you all in our lives, and to be able to celebrate these special times, with you and your family's :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends, a happy baking friday, and i shared with my family, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) it was a super summer charged up and spirited morning :) i began my day, with a nice nature walk, putting lots of goodies in our backyard, our nature friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i've been putting extra goodies outside for them :) i checked our plants, they're doing amazing :) we recieved lots of rain yesterday, and today it reached nearly 90 degrees here. the plants love the warmth, and are super mega growing :) it's an awesome time in the gardening season :)

i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen, decorate :) today's decorations, features red, white, and blue, American flag themed :) our kitchen looked awesome :) i love decorating it :) it's one of my favorite joys :) i did some late morning gardening, my mom and dad went out to shop, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) a special thank you for my mom and dad :) i planted a few sunflower plants into our garden, and also put more soil around the stem bases of our popcorn plants :) i only gardened for about 25 minutes, as it's very hot outside. i paced myself, and been drinking lots of water today :)

During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) Alyssa, the triplets, Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over :) Mikey is continuing to do ok, and is gonna be going to her next appt, on monday, to get his arm, and wrist x-rays, to see if there' healing progress. Mikey is in good spirits, and was playing with some of the toys, and video game, with Taylynn :) We were all gathering around, lots of great excitement in the air :) Hunter wanted to help Kayla and i bake today, and the triplets were back and forth, from the kitchen and living room too :) we got our picture taken in the kitchen, it's a cool baking friday tradition :) each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends, over the years :) i wear my apron, and we use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are really nice, and a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready :) we were ready to bake an awesome cake :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :) We began our super fun adventure! :)

we began to prepare the cake :) the American flag themed cake, is one of our favorite treats to bake, each year :) we've been looking forward to baking it, and celebrating the upcoming 4th of July holiday with everyone :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best 2 eggs ever :) she loves to pick out the eggs :) she opened the fridge, and got the eggs :) Hunter was helping add the ingredients, to the bowl :) the kids love to help, they're great helpers :) they get so proud, when they add the ingredients, and super stirring :) we were sharing lots of smiles :) my mom, sister Jenn, and Mikey came out into the kitchen :) When Mikey fully heals, he will be able to return to helping us in the kitchen :) he's proud of his little brother Hunter, doing so well, baking :)

We stirred the vanilla cake mix, and used butter to grease the baking pan :) we then poured the cake mix into the pan, and put the cake into the oven, to bake! :) the cake was baking, and we opened up the strawberries, and blueberries :) we love fresh goodies :) Hunter had a strawberry, and a few blueberries :) he loves fruits :) we were all hanging out, enjoying the awesome spirit of the day, summer seaso, and counting down to the 4th of July :) the cake baked nicely :) i brought it out of the oven to cool down for a while, and we got ready to decorate it :) it's fun decorating the cake :) we first spread the cool whip topping on the cake, and then used strawberries to make the stripes, and blueberries to make the stars on the cake :) The cake came out great! :) we're so proud of it :) we were showing everyone the cake :) We love these awesome times, you all are always right there with us in spirit :)
