baking friday! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) Cookie monsters! :) hehe! : )Cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) A super fun, and super sweet, happy 4th of July holiday weekend themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) Sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer as we blossom into the holiday weekend! :) We're so happy and excited, sharing in and celebrating the awesome spirit of these sweet summer days with everyone! :) We sliced the cake earlier, and are digging in, it's awesome! :) Holly and i also made mini American flag crafts for everyone :) it's a baking friday party celebrations, as the summer season shines! :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today the kids, Holly, and i baked a 4th of July, American flag cake, and also baked some sugar cookies :) it was so much fun! :) the spirit of the season is all around :) We're loving the day and are so excited for all of our summer time baking friday adventures! :) We're so happy, everyone is enjoying the cake :)Holly and i each had a slice of cake too, and there's still lots more cake left for the weekend :) The kids are having so much fun enjoying their summer vacation :) It's sweet classic, and golden summer time!!! :)

Summer Time Celebrations!!! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a wonderful day :) We're very happy, excited, and thrilled, to share in and celebrate these awesome spirit soaring times of the season with everyone :) A very special happy Canada day to all of our Canadian friends :) We're thinking of you all :) We're all with eachother in spirit, during these wonderful times of the season :) The summer season is in full swing, and the 4th of July holiday weekend is arriving with lots of spirited energy and excitement :) it's an awesome time of the year :) There's lots of wonderful seasonal festivities, and traditions :) From BBQ cookouts, nature adventures, gardening, shopping, nice rest, and relaxation enjoying sunny beautiful weather, and with all of the holiday celebrations, Fireworks shows and displays :) there's so much to enjoy, and lots of great memories being made :) We're very happy, thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in and celebrate these wonderful times of the seson with you all :) As we all get ready for the celebrations ,we want to take this time, to wish everyone a healthy, safe, joyful, and happy 4th of July holiday weekend :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day rising and shining :) A very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :)awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our super fun, annual 4th of July themed baking friday adventure :) it's one of our favorite adventures of the year :) There's lots of great things going on, as the summer time nature blossoms all around :)i hear lots of birds singing happily outside here as i write this :) We love the spirit soaring nature of summer time :) i was up early this morning ,enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) it's a great time in the season, with lots of awesome nature to enjoy as summer season blossoms :)i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) the summer sunshine and our nature friends greeted me :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :)awww! :) i walked over to our garden areas to check in on our plants :)

Holly and i are enjoying the gardening season very much ,and sharing our adventures with everyone :) our plants, and garden are doing very well, growing and flourishing :) it's amazing to see how much the plants have grown :) Later on today, while tending our plants, Holly and i are going to pick our first snap peas and cucumbers of the season :)it's gonna be so nice :) We're loving our gardening experiences, all of the nature sights, and see our garden grow :)it's a wonderful time in the season to soak up some wonderful summer time nature :) We're so proud of our garden ,and very happy and excited our plants, fruit trees, flowers, grapevines, and all of our flower bushes are doing well :) our snowball bush has just began to blossom, and our sunflowers are growing tall :) it's amazing, the sunny glow of the sunflowers, as they soak up the summer sunshine :) it's an awesome time in the season, and lots more gardening and nature adventures to look forward too :) it was very active in our yard this morning, with lots of birds visiting, and the butterflies and bumble bees beginning their day in the summer sunshine nature, it's amazing!!! :) Happy summer nature, and gardening season smiles :)

It was an awesome ,spirited sunny morning :)We enjoyed our breakfast, and having some water, hot tea, iced coffee, and Holly and i put some waters in the freezer, to make some iced cold lemonade :) wishing everyone safety, from the very hot/humid weather. keep cool and hydrated everyone :)as the morning continued on, i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and our 4th of July Patriotic decorations ,and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen ,for our super fun adventure :) Today, i decorated our kitchen with a spirit soaring festive, Happy 4th of July theme :) our kitchen looks great, and is glowing ,red, white, and blue, for the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend :) it's so much fun decorating :) as the morning went on, Holly and i went outside, for a nice nature walk, and tended our plants, before it got too hot/humid outside. we gave our plants a really good soaking with the water :) our plants are very happy, and healthy :) We picked 3 cucumbers, and some snap peas :) our first harvest of the season! :) Around mid-day, we enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) Holly and i created some cool 4th of July America Flags for the kids and everyone :) we used paper, markers, and popsicle sticks :) they came out great! :)

Around 3pm, Jenn and the kids came over, and Aj brought the triplets and Brody over :) Lots of great spirited summer time excitement in the air :) the kids are having a great start to their summer vacation :) They love playing their video games, playing outside, and they love to collect action figures :) Them and family have lots of cool summer plans, throughout the summer season :) Alyssa and family are planning to go to a cool resort place and they also love to go to six flags amusement park :) Lots of great summer time memories being made :) Holly and i handed out the American flag crafts to everyone :) everyone loves them! :) aww! :) We all began to gather in our kitchen :)The kids love to select their spots at the kitchen counter :) The kids, Holly, and i got our picture taken in the kitchen :) It's a cool baking friday tradition :) You all are always right there with us in spirit during these very special, spirited fun times :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) Holly and i are wearing our Patriotic shirts :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) Cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) the kids love to help! :) they're great helpers :) They get so proud, adding the ingredients :) Hunter and Brody cracked open the eggs today :) We added in all of the cake ingredients, and began to super stir the ingredients :) my mom, and sister's Jenn and Lisa came out into the kitchen at times :) You all are always right there with us in spirit ,in our kitchen :) We were sharing lots of smiles :) Carter joined in on the baking friday fun :) the cake we made, is vanilla cake, we love baking this awesome 4th of July cake each year :) We've been baking the cake since 2008 :) i used vegetable oil to grease the baking pan, and we added the cake mix into the baking pan ,and i put the cake into the oven to bake :)

As the cake was baking, we got the baking pan ready to bake the sugar cookies :) Alyssa picked up 2 packages of the nice, pillsbury sugar cookies, dinosaurs shapes :) The kids love them :) i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we put the first batch of cookies onto the pan, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake :) as the cake and cookies were baking ,we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out :)The kids were going back and forth, from the kitchen and living room :) The first batch of cookies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) i put the 2nd batch of cookies into the oven to bake :) The cake was baking nicely, when it finished baking ,i brought it out of the oven :)a cool tip that helps the cake cool down quicker, is we put the cake into the freezer for a little while ,it helps it cool down quicker :)

The kids, Holly, and i got ready to decorate the American Flag cake once it cooled down :) We spread cool whip on the cake, earlier i washed and sliced the strawberries :) We also used blackberries instead of blueberries this year, as the stores were out of blueberries, they worked great :) We put the blackberries onto the cake as the stars, and used the strawberries to make the flags stripes :) The American flag cake came out great! :) i brought the 2nd batch of cookies out of the oven :) i took pictures of the American Flag cake, and the cookies, and we all began to dig in :) The kids were so excited, to enjoy some cake, they love strawberries, and blackberries :) Holly and i each had a slice of cake too, it's delicious! :) We still have a half cake left, for the holiday weekend :)

We're enjoying an awesome, and spirited fun day! :) baking friday! :) summer time spirit, and ready for an amazing 4th of July holiday weekend! :) we love it!!! :) my family, Holly, and i are doing well, healthy, and in great spirits :) it was so much fun baking goodies today :) we love these very special, spirited fun times :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) The weekend is arriving with lots of Summer time spirit, as we blossom into the 4th of July holiday weekend :) We love the weekend's :)We're very happy and excited, for all of the holiday weekend festivities, traditions, and celebrations to look forward too :) Tomorrow, we're gonna go shopping at the dollar tree :) we're going to buy some foods, snacks, drinks, we also want to buy some glow sticks for the holiday weekend, we're gonna browse at the hotwheels, and dvds too :) Holly and i are gonna have a summer blockbusters, Patriotic movies marathon party, and picking out a new movie to watch on saturday night :) We're gonna tend our plants, and on sunday Holly and i are going to have a cool, TWD marathon :) Holly painted an awesome ,TWD themed shirt :) i'll take a picture of it on sunday :) Monday's the 4th of July :) We're so happy and excited to celebrate with everyone :) i'm going to buy some new coins and stamps, to add to my collection :) it's gonna be an amazing weekend! :) i look forward to sharing our weekend festivities, adventures, celebrations ,and pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :)
