bad omens about moving
Hours ago learned from would-be new apt manager that it'll be an added 12 dollars to what she quoted me for monthly rent, after she had told me in person might be LESS than original quote.
And, I told her a million times how scared I am about winding up homeless from something going wrong with her paperwork at same time I give 30 day notice to my landlord, with any delays totally ruining me, cause I don't have the money for delays/changes.
I'm hoping I don't have to crawl back to my landlord, re-sign with hud, skip out on any new lease I sign next week....or throwing everything I own out, though I admit it could "just" be my fears till this is all over with, a loooong 30 days from now.
About five minutes after talking to the would-be new apt manager, I get a call from the friend who is the only person who could move me----he and his girlfriend got into a fight, with police to the scene....this after he punched somebody 2 weeks ago at work. I can too easily imagine him getting put in jail before I move; yeah, I'm selfish enough to care about me being stuck. He's going through his own apt troubles, and money troubles, and he's gonna mess his own life up, and mine.
Plus, he tells me the trailer he planned to haul my stuff with has an expired licence, with 26 dollar cost, which I'll pay for---but I worry he wont update the licence, cops pull him over, with him expecting to pocket the 26 dollars I plan, after the moving, to pay him, on top of other moving costs.
Added to all this: yesterday water shot out of my ceiling for five minutes from upstairs apt, with other neighbor calling landlord about it, cause I stopped calling for any complaints. And downstairs drunken idiot blasting his loud music right through my ex-bedroom, at midnight, when I woke up in my living room, to walk to the bathroom.
I took a benydrel, hoping to nod out for the night.

I feel your pain Mike. I always seem to pay top dollar while others get the deals. It is NOT selfish of you to want to look after your own interests. I still think the move will be better than what you have now. You need to get rid of some stuff to move into the smaller space anyway. I know it is tough but try to keep your spirits up
I will pray that everything goes smoothly for you.
thanks, TrojanThunder.
Main way for me to deal with this, is to bore to death poor cashiers...black cashier even said white idiot below me was \"inconsiderate\", a word that\'s been in my head for months, and post office clerk today said \"you had enough\", when I sent off my 30 day notice.
Thanks, KelleyPaterson,
Non-religious me have been saying \'oh god\" and \"ah, Christ\" a lot, with it being such an ordeal to get out of bed---and I don\'t even have half the problems you have.
Take care.
I just cant tell you how bummed I am for you. Can you maybe go WITH your friend to get the trailer tag updated?
hi, and thanks again, TroJanThunder
no use talking sense to almost everybody I\'ve known in my life....if the police stop him for expired trailer licence, I\'m not paying the fine. AND, for all I know, he wont even be able to loan the trailer to begin with; just thought of that.
when it rains, it pours---literally: water shooting out my ceiling, again, for five minutes yesterday (photo); I told upstairs tenant, for all good it did me.
Downstairs idiot with usual Saturday night live jam, starting at 10, somebody playing an electric guitar. Has taken me this long to realize its not just downstairs idiot getting drunk and playing music---it\'s mostly all night parties, with whoever else is with him. Today, from a distance, I could see a red Budweiser beer case in his garbage can.
3 weeks left for hoped-for moving, and landlord didn\'t send in questionnaire to my new apt manager, so I can\'t say anything nasty---though it, again, has taken me this long to at least want to ask him: \"How come I\'m suddenly a piece of garbage who should sleep in the living room, while the downstairs idiot is mother Teresa who can blast music all night, since July?\"
(I downloaded melancholy \"have yourself a merry little Christmas\" a couple hours ago, for whatever nutty reason of my own, to listen to all day)
