Bad News Yesterday,

Some of you may remember that my ex-wife almost died a year ago July with Cancer.  She was on a ventilator for 3 months and Doctor gave her less than 2 months to live.  She was transferred to a hospital in Missouri and the supposedly cured the cancer.
Yesterday morning, my oldest daughter called me crying and informed me that her mother's cancer, is back.  She had a P E T scan Monday and it came back bad.  Evidently the cancer is in her stomach and her liver now.  I feel so sorry for my daughter because she and her mom are very close.  I am afraid that my ex will not survive this time.  This is the 3rd round of this and she doesn't have much to fight back with.  She just turned 63 in July.
She has a good attitude about it, from what my daughter told me.  She said the Drs, are optimistic but, sometimes, I think they give patients false hope, especially in situations like this.  I know of few who have survived liver cancer.
She goes either tomorrow or next Thursday to have some kind of chemical intravenously, to pinpoint where the cancer is and how concentrated it is.  I guess this will tell the Dr.s what their approach is to try and treat it.
I saw my ex at a funeral I did about 2 weeks ago and she talked to me for just a minute or two.  We divorced over 37 years ago.  She remarried about 15 years after we divorced and her husband died in 2010 of a heart condition.  He was a heavy smoker, etc.
Somehow this all sucks but, all we can do is pray and accept God's will in all of this.
