Bad Idea (ED trigger warning)

Today I had a nice but busy day with some of my family packing up a lot of my nana's things so my mom and I can move it out and get our stuff moved in. While we were looking at stuff in the basement my cousin weighed himself on a scale I knew we had but didn't know where it was till we were down there so I weighed myself too. Bad idea, the last time I weighed myself was in my doctors office 2 weeks ago and I've gained about 8 lbs. I know the scales can be calibrated differently or I could have read the one at the docters office wrong but I'm still freaked out about it and afraid I'm going to starve myself. Part of me knows it is bad and wants to eat normally but part of me is freaking out and want to starve and exercise a lot. I don't know which part of me is going to win so I'm afraid.

Good morning sweet girl. I know you stuggle with this:( Your journal showsyou are really thinking about it though, because you have answered your own question with two solutions in mind. One is to starve yourself which is so very unhealthy, and the other is to eat normally. Just a though, since most of us, and I include myself in this, don\'t know what \"normal\" eating really is, maybe a dietician could help. Maybe if we found out what was actually healthy to eat, we could maintain the weight we want, and not have to worry about gaining, loosing, gaining..etc.
It\'s just a thought. I\'m a diabetic and I have to be really careful what I eat. I know I sometimes fail, (Ice cream is a craving of mine) I will be thinking about you. Please just try to \"eat healthy\". Love and hugs, mum
