Bad days and good days!

There is no rhyme or reason for my bad days sometimes.  Monday I had my worse day so far symptom wise.  My tremors kicked themselves up several notches for no reason this time.  Usually I can tie it into some sort of stress.  Not this time. I had a relaxing weekend and was feeling really good Monday morning mentally.  Yet after about an hour of waking up, my hand was flapping around like a fish out of water, and my leg was pretty much trembling non-stop.
I had an appointment with my exercise trainer and that was a disaster.  I couldn't even do simple stuff.  She finally gave up and had me do stretching exercises, which was even hard because I was so stiff.  I didn't give up and was determined to show my body who was in charge.  I stayed at the gym and worked out for 2 more hours after the trainer.  Then went home and walked for an hour.  It wore me out - and the tremors were less - only cause i was too tired to move.  But then my body got even and I had tremors all night - for the first time ever.  UUGGG  Hubby said he woke up and thought he was shaking.   lol
But thankfully - a new day on Tuesday and the tremors calmed down some.  I guess I am probably going to have to come out of denial and start on meds soon.  :(
Can someone stop this ride?  I really want off now!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean CM,

Sometimes it\'s just a bad day (symptom wise) - with no reason for it other than that, but clearly though you had a very strong day mentally, you took charge and pushed yourself further, didn\'t give up - I\'m so proud of you!

By the way, you can stay firmly in denial with or without meds (I\'ve tried both and they work equally well for me! hahaha)

Take care

CM, I admire your strength in putting off the meds. I sometimes wonder if I should have did the same. You are still very young. I was diagnosed at 67 and my husband is 11 years older than me, so I decided to do everything I could to feel my best while I still have him. The meds have helped a lot. Hopefully, they will continue to help for a few more years. You have been very encouraging to me with the excercising. Excercise does make me feel better physically and mentally. Hope you are feeling better. Birdy

Hi Carol, that must have been terrible day for you. Tough, i do not know if I would have put off taking meds , in that situation . Unfortunately I was not given the option to take or not to take meds. The neuro. gave me meds. and I took them. But I do not know if I would hold on , taking them feeling the way you did . Maybe is time to start with small doses , who knows with exercise, you may still stay on low doses long time. That is my opinion you have to do what you think . Zlatica
