One day at a time, baby steps. Gender therapist is a good idea though.
\"Pray that god will cure you\"? And this is why I don\'t talk to most of my family. Sure my dad is somewhat accepting, but he told me he said he didn\'t approve of SRS, either you\'re accepting of everything involved with transitioning or you\'re not accepting period. So now he is added to the list of people I don\'t converse with. If you were on your own I\'d suggest just removing the negativity from your life, but seeing as you\'re still at home, I can\'t say that, considering you\'re still 16, which was the age I stopped hiding who I was and started transitioning. I am sorry you\'re having to deal with uninformed parents. It happens. I wish you the best in your dealings with them.
Kyler I am sorry you are having trouble talking to your parents about your transitioning. I don\'t wish to disrespect your parents, but it is not a question of being \"cured\', you are not sick. I feel for you in your pain, I would look for a gender therapist to talk to about this , you will feel better when you can talk to a trained person.
Stay in your truth Kyler, lots of luck on your journey.
Thanks all of you i feel sorry for complaining/wining but i can\'t help myself id make friends at school but after i graduate and\"kyler\" disappears , it would be just plain uncomfortable of i were to run into them
