Bad day, good day
When I'm depressed or bored, I over-eat. I am aware of it; I make no excuse for it; I exercise to counteract it. My weight isn't going down, but it's not going up either.
Today, I had to interact with my ex-wife. I wish she would let me see my daughter more often. I wish she would let me talk to my daughter on the telephone. Fortunately, today in court, the judge made it abundantly clear that my ex must honor the court order. This evening, however, my ex wouldn't let me talk to my daughter; nor would she agree to talk about letting me see Charlotte soon. She said, "All such enquiries must come via your attorney."
It would be good for our daughter if she and I were to put our differences aside and focus on the best interests of the child.
One day, when our daughter is old enough to understand, she may be disappointed in our behavior.
