Bad Day
My head has not been into my work today. Since my coworker split and I took over her duties my brain has turned to jelly.
Her work was a daily repetitive of the same things everyday. I was learning the billing from our supervisor but since taking over her duties my job has gone to the wayside. Its true...use it or lose it. I was so bad today that my boss actually had to ask if I was ok.
I am overwhelmed with everything...my deceased parents house in OK and dealing with that, my home situation with roomie giving me the silent treatment and my own future moving situation that may be put on hold d/t the health worries I'm having. All of this and trying to focus on work. I haven't slept for two days. I thought camping might have helped but I was awake the whole night.
I think if I can get home and things dont blow up with Roomie, that I might just take some melatonin and try and sleep. In two days my phone shuts off and I just might let it but know that I can't.

Hm-m-m-m. . . Jelly Brain. . . I'm not sure, but I think I might experience that on a regular basis. Despite the fact that Jelly Brain makes me do some genuinely moronic shit, I believe it has the advantage of keeping me too exhausted to go shopping for new psycho drama. Or am I grasping at straws? ? ? Sometimes ya gotta grab your hope cheap.
Sigh. . . Why can't life be boring old simple?
Continued support while you work your way through. Hope you get that good night's sleep. Restorative rest sure makes a big diff.
Yea, I still haven't made my peace with phones, either, especially since they have turned into electronic leashes, but I can't remember the last time I saw a pay phone in North America or felt comfortable asking to borrow a phone. People got downright rude the last time I asked early this millennium. Took three days to find a phone I could borrow. Even allot of motels no longer keep land lines in the rooms. I never made my peace with phones, but it is still comforting to be able to call for roadside assistance, pizza, etc.
