Back to it

So it's coming down to the last few days of Adi's visit here before he flys back to Alaska where it's -60.
Wed: We went on a submarine tour off the coast of Waikiki to check out sunken planes and sunken ships. It was a fantastic day to go. Being it's butterfly mating season, there were thousands of black and yellow striped fishies everywhere... and the water was so clear.
Thur: We went on a shark tour. Out on a boat up on the north shore to a cage out in the middle of the ocean. We get in the cage (fits 8 people) and there are swarms of sharks all around us! 1st group that went had it easy... the staff pushed the cage out far enough that it didn't bang into the boat a bunch of times. But when our turn came to go in, the current and tide had picked up and the cage kept banging into the boat. I got jerked and jarred around pretty good. paying for it now with aches and pains.
Today: I'm resting while my little brother has been out all day biking, kayaking, and snorkeling. Although mom talked my ear off about how worried she was about our up coming move and that she doesn't want to go. I told her that staying here is a financial blow to us (the house is under water, my car was stolen, the HOA fees are too steep, etc) and please get it through her head.
Sat (tomorrow): Jeff, my little bro, and I will go on a catamaran to go dolphin & whale watching. Then in the evening we will go to a luau.
We asked mom days ago while we were booking the catamaran and luau if she wanted to come with us and she said she had church plans. Then yesterday she demanded for us to "add" her in. We tried to explain that the seats are very limited and you just can't "add" someone in. You have to book in advance. She doesn't seem happy about it. It's too late to do anything about it. Plus it costs money, money she doesn't have. We would have gladly booked it for her back then but not the day before.
Anyways.... I'm sure we will find something to do Sunday afternoon before my little bro leaves.
After he leaves we have to get back to working on the house. Once it's done, we have to put it on the market.
That's my update for now.... take care, everyone! Hope you all are doing well!

I try to. It\'s hard to do that when there is a constant To-Do list. sheesh. But I force my self to sit at home and lay in bed all day roughly once a week. I should be doing that more often. I wish.
