Back to work
I had a busy day back at work ,we had a cup final today so it kept us busy and i hadn't seen the girls for 3 weeks so had a bit of gossip and a giggle. One of my so called friends came in didn't say i'm sorry about dad or how i was feeling. She wanted to know if i was glad to be back, did she think i'd been on holiday or had a few day's off.I wanted to shout NO I DON'T WANT TO BE BACK I'VE LOSTED MY DAD.Hardly anybody has asked me anything i just want people to acknowledge i've lost my dad. just to say how are you, everything ok.I hope i'm not sounding selfish.I can't seem to explain myself today least i know what i mean.

I know how you feel. I had a month off after my dad passed away. I had so called friends texting me saying that I shouldn\'t be off work anymore and that I should be at work socialising and putting my mind into work and not being sad at home. I too wanted to say \"God you haven\'t got a clue how I\'m feeling\"... I wanted to say \"I love my dad more than any of you can ever realise or understand\"!! BUT it felt like no one understood me other than people on DS. When I finally went back to work the people who obviously felt for me did say sorry about your dad which made me burst into tears... BUT was nice of them and my tears were no only necause it reminded me the situation was real, but because someone else cared about what I was going through. Other people still to this day have never said \"I\'m sorry for your loss\" or even mentioned it. I put it down to embarrassment in not knowing what to say for a lot of them, but other people think \"Oh well life goes on\"! When deep down I\'m thinking does it, how can it, my dad\'s no longer here and he was part of my world. A very very big part! x
