Back to Work

Went back to work yesterday.  Quite proud of myself.  Was going pretty good till I took my meal break around five.  Then, I got tired.  While I was signing back in, a friend came by and asked if I was feeling alright.  Told him I was really tired and he said I looked it.  He said maybe I was pushing too hard for my first day back after 3 weeks off, and thought maybe I should clock out and go home.  I talked to a team leader and he agreed it would be a good idea.  So, I clocked out, went to my car and when I got there, I realized how tired I was.  I thought if this was so hard now, it would have been much harder if I'd stayed till 9:30.  Well, I got home and let Foxy out and while waiting for her, my neighbor pulled up in my driveway.  I thought she was turning around, but she got out and asked how I was doing.  I told her it was still rough going.  She said she and her husband had noticed I'd been home a lot and figured I was still having problems with my legs.(This is the same neighbor who mowed my front yard last year.)  She said she wanted to let me know her husband was going to take care of the lawn today!  He just came to the door(today) to tell me he was ready to do the lawn.  I've lived a lot of places, but outside of the neighborhood where I grew up, these are the best neighbors I've ever had!  I don't know how I'll ever repay them, but I'll try.

Glad you went home. I am prone to push myself too hard alot of times.
How wonderful to have neighbors who really care! When my hub injured his back in 2001, our neighbor mowed our grass for 5-6 months and would not allow us to pay him. There are good people, sometimes just hard to find them!!
Hope you have a good week.
Hugs,
GG
