Back to square one
We had a chat with our fertility doctor today. It was not very encouraging. She just told us that it must be an egg factor...well duh! My ususal cycles on these drugs are not 28 days but 31...I still think that they did the retrieval too early, but what do I know? She did not give us any real information but that she wants to go back to Letrozole (higher dosage) in two months and do and IUI. THat means that IVF is out of the question for me. Too many immature follicles and the chance for hyperstimulation is the worry factor. DH and I have not reallly sat down and discussed it yet. In my mind I feel like this dream of having a child of our own is not going to come naturally. I will never know what it is like raising a new born or going through birth. My parents are devastated, though they would never let me know it.I have decided to get healthier and watch my glucose intake...and perhaps it will happen naturally...but I would not hold my breathe. Damn PCOs! Since I already asked for a week leave, I am going to take it and clear my head. I did tell a couple of people at work, and I think a week away will make the news easier to tell then showing up to work tomorrow like a basket case.I really do not know if we are going to persue the IUI with Letrozole or not, but who knows. I will be 38 in a few months and maybe it is time to just give up and adjust to not being a mom. Heres to a thinner me. I guess I should join the wieght group for support. To all my infertility sisters and those who have experienced a miscarriage, do not be discouraged. Have faith!

Hang in there!! Praying it happens for you...
Have you considered IVF with a donor egg or embryo? It is an option out there. It is what I have had to do. It was really hard for me to come to the decision but in the end....being a mom meant more to me then the biology of it. There is a donor group (you can find it thru my profile) if you are interested in support from others who have experienced something similar. Maybe a second opinion would also be an option? I don\'t mean to be too forward or abrasive with what I just wrote. I just don\'t want to see you give up on your dreams hun. I really want you to be happy! I am so sorry & try to take your own advice....have faith!!! xxx
