Back to square one

I haven't updated the journal here in while but I'm doing so today to get some things off my chest and leave it be here set in stone as it were.As you probably know from reading my profile is that I'm going through a divorce its still only 3 months down the line, and I would like to move on in my life. I honestly thought I was over the worst of it, but now it feels as if I'm back to square one.I decided to join a free dating site, and have met someone already, I do like the person I met but its difficult to gauge what people really want from those sites, I was pretty open on our first meeting, to the point of us being hot and heavy, although we didn't go all the way as it were, it was pretty close. Talk about being foward, although I'm much to blame as she was.  Our second meeting was more like the first meeting should have been, it was not hot and heavy, but it was made worse from our initial meeting (not that I regret anything ) I was nervous as hell, and well outside my comfort zone. Its OK if people are upfront from the start even if people are using 'dating' just so that can engage in casual sex, the only problem I have is that while I'm still in the early stages of divorce and bereavement I can see the need to move on, but emotionally I don't know if I'm ready, it feels like my head is out of sync with my heart -The more I analyse it the worse it becomes, and then the person who I'm dating just gets ticked off with me wallowing in self pity, and doubt. So today I'm hurting because I'm going hard on myself for being to critical and for being blown-out via text message, but I'm trying to think about how I analyse things, and that by thinking too much can be self destructive, not to mention damaging to relationships in general. Some of my goal sliders have gone down to reflect the current situation.
