Back to reality

Rain ~ cold.  Florida happened too fast!
Although we had the strangest, warmest "winter" with very little snow (I think we had 3 short-lived snowfalls) ~ it's still hard coming back to reality after our sunny, beautiful vacation.
The real reality, however, is coming back to our 22 year old son.  He manned the "fort" while we were gone.  My hubby and I talked today and feel our son is in a real slump. He hasn't been taking care of himself along with some other signs.  Yes - we know he's an active drinker but his drinking (or whatever he's doing) is rearing its ugly head.
He also uses our van for transportation to and from work and to the art studio where he paints.  Our van is leased and is WAY over the mileage and that has a lot to do with him using it.  Not to mention it stinks inside.  He smokes and claims he doesn't anymore in the  van but it sure smells like it and then some.  It's gross.  But what are we do?  Tell him he can't drive it anymore to go to work or paint?  Two things that keep him busy and a bit more engaged in life?  I can't tell him he can't drive it anymore.  Frustrating....
