Hi everyone, We have finally licked the cold and cough. Still a little stopped up but it's probably allergies. We had a nice weekend and hope everyone is doing ok.
My youngest daughter is dealing with kidney stones again! She has three that she is trying to pass this time. She is one tough person. I have had kidney stones and children and the two compare to the pain level. I feel so sorry for her, she has to go thru this so often. The urologist say this area is the "kidney stone belt". So maybe my friends up north have never had one. They look about the size of a small pea but it has little thorns all over them. Have you ever been walking and these little burrs stick to your socks or pants. Thats what a kidney stone looks like.
I am sad for my friends on this site. So many are in pain from the death of their soulmates. I can only imagine the sufffering. None of us know the future and I do not wish to know mine. I will trust my Lord to help me whenever the time comes. I send each of you my love and prayers.......Wanda

It\'s great that you and Steve are feeling better now. Colds are so miserable. I feel for your daughter, Wanda. I have had kidney stones on and off for many years, with the most recent being three weeks ago. It truly is excruciating. Is SC also in that \"kidney belt\"? Take care, my dear friend.

Glad you are feeling better - too bad about your daughter. It is awful when your kids are sick, no matter how old they are! You feel like you want to do SOMETHING to make it all better........

Hey Carol that is a good description of kidney stone pain. You hurt for so long you begin to throw up. Yuck And Ingrid the doctor told me that it could be all the diet Sundrop I drink. But Lisa does not even drink that brand. I love me some diet sundrop. Best soft drink you can buy. love you guys...........Gloria I hope to talk to you soon Wanda
Hi Wanda...I\'m sorry to hear about your daughter\'s kidney stones.... I never heard about one\'s location being a key factor or cause....anyway, I hope that is the last she will have to experience...sounds like she\'s had more than her share. Hi friends, My daughter passed all three of her stones on the same day. She said the pain was horrific! I don\'t know how she did it, they were all large stones. I can\'t tell you how scared that makes me. She is somewhat at risk because of Steve. (at least that is what the doctor told us). Thank you all for your concern for her. Oh, YAY!!! Sounds like a horrible process (I\'ve been at the urologist with my husband and heard the screaming in another room, believe me), but what a tremendous relief to her now.

We are from Indiana and my husband has had several bouts with kidney stones. He has been in hospital about 3 times and surgery is always requires. We were at airport ready to leave on vacation one time when he about passed out on my and had to be rushed to hospital! Hope she is doing better now.
