Back to Business Prep

'Tis the last week of the 3 week Winter Vacation. Time do fun when you are having flies. It doesn't feel possible that it has flown so quickly. With all the family weirds going on in their lives right now, I feel compelled to taking extra care in prepping the GKs for whatever's next. So far as I know, their *next* will be returning to the other grandparent house in time for GS to resume classes this coming Monday. I still donae know if they will find a little sister there, or knot, so I am still holding silent on that point.

The prepping piece on my mind this morning is carrying the Christmas Room in the honey barn to its next evolution as the extraction room. Time to start disassembling the Christmas Room? I'm wondering if taking the remainder of the week to pack up the decorations and presents will be a gently solid transition into ? ? ? Well. . . For sure, the end of Winter Vacation.

I find myself one grouchy louse this moning. I made good progress on painting the box room yesterday. My plan was to finish half of the room, shift the stacks that were shuffled for the window work into their permanent storage space, then paint the other half. While I was busy with the GKs, Hubby assumed my progress to be wet finished and shifted his boxes, et al to another temporary spot in front of the wet surfaces Nice thought, honey bunch, but. . . Can I at least look at the dried wall before I start the other half? The cold makes for extra drying time.

Moving the clutter away from the walls so I could sneak a peek made a good anger channeling exercise this morning. I hope. . . Praying. . .
