Back... sort of...
Thank you for the personal messages and hugs.
Does life ever slow down to boring? Seems like that's the usual state, except when one thing after another keeps coming up. Then it's hard to remember "boring".
(Ah, yeah, I know, Grandma. Only boring people get bored.)
Mr. Rug Sweep has been at work again. I am not happy about that, but I'm trying (not always effectively) to keep Mrs. Boat Rocker from causing issue. At least she (cough... I...) haven't tipped over the vessel just to tip it over.
Predictably, I have gotten sick with flu like symptoms. I can't say for sure, but I think this happened last year, too. It "always" happens. Stress, stress, stress... overload, overwhelming overload... then boom, I fall apart physically. My worst FMS symptoms come after a long, stressful period when things finally calm down (some) and I'm able to rest. I felt the oncoming illness prior to day camp, but I just knew that as soon as things calmed down I'd break bad. Last night I was feverish, sore throat, and cranky.
Today was all about frantic cleaning and picking up (thankfully, Huz did almost all of it) so we could get the house "show ready"... and then it seemed like no one even showed up except that a pair of sunglasses were left in the master bathroom. (Creepy. Seriously, people. Creepy.) I hate having people come in/out of the house when we're not here, but I don't like having people look while we ARE here, either. It's hard not to take it personally when people make comments like, "Oh. THIS is interesting..." and I know I always felt weird talking to my husband openly about houses even when it was just our realtor there when we were buying, so, yeah.
Waiting for news about the house where we want to move. I guess we'll probably know Monday. That doesn't MEAN anything, since we're still in debate about moving. The scales are tipping more in favor of moving, but I'm still not 100% sold. I'm not sure what will sell me but it's definitely tipping. Visiting on Wednesday/Thursday and meeting fellow nerd/geek/gamers helped a lot, but... yeah. So much to lose. So much to gain. So much up in the air.
Still hurting over things huz said. He's trying to be sweet and make up for the awful things he did/said, but the hurt is still there. I know I either need to do something about it (but what?) or let go, but I'm "stuck". Guess we'll see. Like I say, once something is broken it's never quite the same ever again.
