Back Smoking

Well, I'm back smoking.  Hadn't had a puff since before Thanksgiving.  Stress and a lot of pain brought it on.  I haven't been without pain for weeks!  The pain in my left ankle spread to most of my foot.  The rash, or whatever it is, has made both feet tender.  Funny, most of my problems have been in my right leg for the passed year or so and my left had very little if any rash.  Now, its showing the rash.  Both legs are swollen and the pee pills have had little effect.  A pain has developed in my right side near the hip.  As  near as I can tell, I bruised my left knee and it hurts when I walk or get out of a chair.  And wouldn't you know, the callous on my right foot has returned with a vengence.  And from out of nowhere, my back is giving me sharp pains.  I can hardly walk!  I've been stressing out having to buy stuff that didn't make it to the apartment during the move and not being able to get the apartment finished,,,,the photos are still in the box and the book case I ordered still hasn't been assembled because of the pain.  Add the health stuff that makes doing things around the apartment hard and more stress is piled on.  Smoking has given me some comfort.  But, I refuse to believe I'll go back smoking on a permanent basis.  I won't buy an ashtray, using a plastic bowl of water.  The bowl doesn't allow me to get comfortable with smoking in that it doesn't allow me to put a cigarette down.  Hopefully, its providing me enough of a problem so it won't be permanent.
