Back On Track
Once again, I have managed to shift the train back onto the tracks. Yesterday I did speak up when the store manager asked how things were going. She could tell something was wrong. It felt good to get it off my chest. This week my manager will be off and we only work together one day. I will have my hands full, but have decided to just go in and get my job done. If coworkers have an attitude or issue, I don't have to do the same. I do my job and do it well... they need to do theirs as well.
Today I was off. It would have been Dave's birthday as well. I did think of him. I was reminded not to just go unhappily through the motions again. So much of his and my family are unhappy. While I have no real plans to make big glorious changes to mine, the things I do have in front of me I have continued to put off. The work is still not done to the house. Roof is now planned for mid July since original roofer was booked up when I finally got him to do it rather than relatives that said they would do it. Restoration is not done yet, but I am still needing to clean out the other room for flooring .
Not sure why, but today I did get things accomplished. Not necessarily what I wanted, but other things needing to be taken care of. I started out getting groceries (was out of most everything but last few days in such bad frame of mind eating very bad) Stocked up on fresh veggies, fruit, cheese , yogurt and shrimp. Prepped veggies and cheese to grab and nibble or steam. Also made time for rebooting a work out. Stretches, old PT exercises for strengthening, time on the bike, then used some new double bands for arms, legs and chest (Lord knows the boobs need help. lol) Got cleaning, laundry done and away.
I am grateful to have a better outlook and hope it lasts. (I think the key is to make it last and not allow ANYONE ELSE to affect it or bring me down. If their attitude sucks, tough shit... let them wallow but not pull everyone else down. )

I love the saying; not my monkey, not my problem. Reminds me that I don’t need OR want to carry anything on my back
FYI I am planning a roof job and it is a wait here for materials. Shop around and expect a lead time on delivery.
It’s always a good sign when we want to exercise, glad to hear it:)
Hi Kim, if you want a workout you go girl! I hate exercising.
Glad you got grocery. The roofer might be better than family doing the work as it probably will have warranty
