Back on the road!
It's just after 6am and I'm having tests done today, so have to be clean and into the hospital by 7:30. In the hospital, their days start around 6am while nurses who worked since 10pm last night get to go home. My legs are being checked out as I had one knee replacement and the other is cracked but still okay if I wear a brace. They're trying to keep me out of a wheelchair for as long as possible. A lot of people i know who have Epilepsy are in wheelchairs. There's something that sucks the calcium out, even in your teeth as I've had many replaced. Later this afternoon I'm heading north with my Barbershop Quartet. We've been asked to appear in Nanaimo, of British Columbia, Canada, where the whole purpose of their show is to try and get kids back into singing, particularly guys who think singing is for girls. If it's for girls, then kindly explain why so many rock groups are men? So we've been asked to sing a few numbers, along with a Ladies Barbershop Quartet, so people can decide which sounds better... men singing, or women singing? (Nice try, ladies! LOL) Heard from my relatives in the UK that they'll be here July 29th to Aug 18th (3 weeks). Not for long though as they'll be renting a camper and go explore everything in and around the Rocky Mountains. But they'll be back with us for their 3rd week, to just relax and share pictures. Anyway, I have to go get ready for the tests! I'll let you guys know how things turn out! Take Care! Matthew
