Back in the Saddle

Well, I've been feeling as though I've been "letting things go", like exercise & the like.  So I've got to get back into "business before pleasure" mode.  But I still won't neglect me!  I just need to do what I need to do, if you know what I mean.
Almost ready to launch the story blog.  Just need to look through the stories, do some formatting & decide what will go first.  I want this to be as seamless as possible.
I decided to accept the request to be on our church's Envisioning Team.  It's kind of about defining the vision for our church.  At first, I was like, "I am so not the person for this!"  But then I thought perhaps this will be good for me, since I've really lost where I should be.  I mean, I know where the culture says I should be, and I know that's not for me!  So perhaps it'll be good.  I just hope it won't be a waste of time.
My daughter graduated 8th grade.  She let me see what her teachers wrote in her yearbook.  Boy, do they believe in her!  That's so nice & I hope she takes it to heart.  Hard to do at that age, I remember!
So now it's off to high school for her.  One school, one youth group, one bus--yeah!!  Too bad they won't be in the same orchestra, but whatever!
