Back in the Game

It feels great to productive again, complete with the mid-day nap which assures me I am not just escalating to mania. The move is done, but there remains a hefty amount of work to be done to make this 40 year old fixer-upper a home, to say nothing of making the half acre of caliche hospitable to my herbs. My sons are speaking to me again, complete with please, thank you and may I help you. My husband is in Houston acting like a man who cares about his aging parents. I have written half a dozen songs and even learned one of them well enough to call it done.
It isn't my longed for Mississippi River Valley research, but I am grateful. It is a good day.
