Back in Chicago
Hello Community,
We had a nice train ride from DC to Chicago. We arrived just in time to watch the Bear's game. (We live in a condo 2 blocks from Union Station.) We met an Australian family and a New Zealand family (They were traveling separately.) and had a nice time talking with them. My wife and I have made several trips to NZ and Australia so we had much to talk about. They are staying in Chicago for several days before taking the train to the West Coast. There was a German family on the train as well.
Our next trip is to Reno, Nevada for Thanksgiving. In December we will spend several weeks in Dallas.
This morning I woke up with a sore throat, stuffiness, and a headache. I feel much better now.
I am going to take advantage of the weather and take a long walk in about 45 minutes.
Take care,
Joe

Hope that walk blows away any stuffiness!

Thanks Julie...It Did!
Good to hear that you had a comfortable trip and meet some nice \"southerners\". Both Austrialia and NZ I would love to visit sometime. Not sure I\'ll ever make it, but it\'s on my bucket list of travel destinations. Hope you shake the cold symptoms fast. Dan
Thanks Dan...The cold symptoms are now mostly gone...A hot shower, cold medicine, a drink of Scotch, and good nights sleep seemed to do the trick
