Back from the trenches...
Hey everybody!!! Ok so I cant possibly update the entirety of my junior year here, but I'll try to give a brief summation! I have missed you all so much, and now that summer is coming around again I will be back on a lot more often!! =)
Gradewise, I got all A's and a B (in physics, blech!) But overall I am very happy with the way they turned out. It was so tough and at times I wanted to pull my hair out, but I'm really happy!
I got the lead in the last musical! =) Guys and Dolls, I played Sargeant Sarah Brown. It was such a wonderful experience and I am so lucky to have had it! It was so surreal, and now auditions for our summer play, Once on this Island, are coming up. I am auditioning for Erzulie, the goddess of love, and I have to say I'm afraid of relapsing if I don't get this part. We are taking this play to Scotland (!!!) for two weeks in August b/c our school was selected as part of the Fringe Festival for the Arts! How cool! But I REALLY want this part and have been practing like crazy...hopefully things will turn out well!!
I have still been having problems with friends being no so loyal and good to me. I have my friends Jamie and Deanna, who are always by my side and never would do anything to betray me, and Amy, my other closest friend who is hilariously funny and wise and always ready to save me when I'm going insane. I have my non theater friends Hannah, Julie, and Michelle, who are amazing and I wouldn't trade for anything. Other than that, I can't say I really trust anyone right now or that I haven't been screwed over. It sucks.
ED wise...wow. I have been in recovery for nine months. =) NO restricting, ten purges at most...not saying I'm completely past it, god forbid, but it has been a wonderful year for me. I haven't been as great with cutting, but not NEARLY as bad either.
Sorry this is so basic! As I write more and more you guys will get more caught up! Thank you SO much for the amazing support and continued love, LOVE YOU ALL!

You sound so happy! Isn\'t it amazing what life without ed can be like.
great update!!
My darling lil sis, so happy for you!! And The Fringe Fest how exciting!!! I am so happy to see you so happy...all my love to you!!
Wonderful to hear from you Dear! And so happy to hear your ED is better as well as your school and theater life.
Oh wow, it really sounds like you had a great year. I mean I know there are probably things which you haven\'t gone into, but from this update it sounds like things went really well for you, and I\'m happy to see you sounding so up! Hon, that is so great about the getting the lead in Guys and Dolls. Now didn\'t I tell you long ago that it would come togehter for you and look how your hard work and dedication has paid off. Not to mention that you are much braver and bolder than I, and a lot of people, are to perform in front of people. I really hope things turn out well for what you\'re trying out for now, as that sounds like a lot of stress and worry for you, but you obviously have a lot of talent, are practicing, etc, so that\'s all you can do right-i.e. try your best. Good on the grades, very good. As for friends, I understand about not trusting people, esp. in high school as that is just the way school goes sometimes, but look at all the friends you included who you have around you and be very grateful for them, which I think you are. ED wise, I am so happy to hear of your progress. NO restricting & only a few purges ( again, no one is perfect, right?). It takes a long time to fully recover from unhealthy behaviors, but you are doing so wonderful, esp. considering all the stress you have to go through from being in high school and dealing with the pressures that come along with that. I\'m glad the SI is better than it was. I used to do that for a time, but it is only a temporary solution to things, as you well know. If you can get a handle on ED, as you seem to have, than I have a very good feeling you can with SI as well. Not everything happens at oncee, as you well know, and there will be bumps along te road. I\'m looking forward to more updates, so happy to hear you up, and am very glad to have you back. You just have that sparkle about you...xx
