back from the dead
My modem gave out, the mouse on my computer was defective for months and I finally bought a new one after it broke, my cat seems to have finally stopped throwing up, and whatever back/groin/pinched nerve pain I had is almost gone. Such pain, maybe just from lifting an electric radiator to put away for the summer!, was like some bad hallucinatory drug; I certainly feel like a different person now than I can bend and walk ok.
My lowllife drunken parents probably had a daily hangover, which is probably partly why they ignored me while I was growing up. My evil hillbilly mom never---never---even went to a dentist.
I survived another holiday by myself; July 4 1980 I spent in the local mental ward, after my evil, crazy, drunken, mom had the cops haul me off in handcuffs, with the neighbors all out to watch, cause she told them her plans---at age 21, I was supposed to be home at 8 at night, just like when I was in school she would call the cops if I wasn't home by 4 oclock. The cops taking me away said that after this, depending on what the mental ward doctor said, my mom might be next be taken away in handcuffs. My worthless dad had a brother who died in Norristown mental hospital in 1977?, after being in there since the 1930s? But my worthless dad always was no help. Thankfully, both of my crazy, lowlife, parents are dead.
Still no bicycle for me, after 3 months without; no luck getting a cheap, used, bike, so I guess I'll have to splurge on a $100 bike at walmart, with 54 year old me stuck riding a $100 bike with the name "viper" or "mongoose" or some teenage nonsense on the frame. Walking the busy highway to Walmart July 3 suddenly seemed scary, unlike when I biked.
Right now listening to "someone saved my life last night." Also downloaded "i will survive"; been listening to those songs for hours yesterday and today, as therapy.

Glad your pain is gone. Hope you find a good second hand bike.
Thank you, Lydia.
hoping your sunday is going well...
I am happy to hear your pain is gone. There are a lot of used bicycle places around here to get bikes. I admire you for riding one. My friend has 5 bikes and can\'t get anybody to ride with him. I have to say this penntucky, you keep on trucking no matter what. I mean no matter what. Have you looked on that site called Lightshouse.org? I mean it has a lot of things about abusive parents and I follow your journals and your comments and hope that you have looked into that site. Thinking of you!
Missed hearing from you. Glad you are feeling better! Good luck finding some new wheels. Craig\'s list maybe?
Thank you, again Lucy570.
My cats keep me going, including not wanting to be a tabloid story of man found dead with cats having eaten his face off.:)
I also want to out-live some of my ex-tormenters; it\'s summer so that means people from my past are in the local newspaper\'s police log; that\'s what happens every summer.
I\'ll check out the Lightshouse site; thanks for that info, too.
YOU...take care of yourself, too. At this point in my life I\'m mostly stuck with bad memories instead of any current bad people.
Thanks, TroJanThunder.
I keep on checking Craigslist, just for the outrageous prices of what people want for used stuff, especially used dvds in just a sleeve for 5 dollars, when I might have bought the same dvd at Biglots for 3.
Fate/whatever; somebody from 8 miles away called....for a loan, and I said to forget 5 dollars for payback if a ride, so I just got in from again going to bike repair shop---though the repairman said a month ago he\'d call me about a used bike.
Is a weird feeling to walk, instead of biking everywhere, but maybe I\'ll get into a better mindset from going without a bike for al little longer for first time in years
Im sorry you are having to wait so long but one thing for sure is you sure will enjoy the heck out of your bike when you finally get one!
hi, TroJanThunder,
it WILL feel good to at least get exercize, to try to be healthier.
a few years ago, when i did get another in a maybe long line of bikes, i was singing to myself \"i\'m so happy, oh so happy\" as i biked from walmart with a new bike.
I hope you get a new bike soon or a good used bike. Any thrift stores near you?
I\'m glad to hear your cat is still around. Tough little kitty.
It\'s good the pain has eased up for you. Sounds painful. just lifting, moving something can create it for sure. The pain I had is just about gone too. :)
thanks, Naturegirl65.
my hometown salvation army, which had bikes, and re-conditioned mattresses, closed a few years ago---with excuse that it wasn\'t making enough money!
I think my nearly 20 yr old cat is like many an elderly person---needs lot of heat; he seems to be doing better in sticky, summer, apt. He coughed up a hairball this morning, despite him seemingly going bald. I still wonder if he has a big hairball stuck inside him---there\'s a recent, real, internet article of a tiger that had a FOUR POUND hairball removed!
I\'m glad your pain is almost gone. I read somewhere that george washington made some bad decisions cause of his dentures, and napoleon too, from his pain; body pain is enough to make a person enter the twilight zone.
