Back from KY and LV!

I was gone for 10 days. 1 day of travel, 8 days in KY, 1.5 days in LV (on the way home).
Goodness, those plane rides are PAINFUL!!!! 1 plane to Vegas, then 2 planes to KY.  and the same back.  and the neck pain, back pain and hip pain was just unreal.... i don't know how i did it 2x last year.  one trip to PA and one trip to MO? how did i survive that pain?? sheezz......
the trip in KY was a bit stressful. when i got there i ended up having to rent a car from Nashville airport (was supposed to get a ride but someone had car trouble) but then Hertz RAPED me of $360 for a ONE DAY RENTAL going one way!!!!!! i ended up broke and stranded till they could fix it, which took 2-3 business days. scumbags! don't rent from Hertz ever again! they should be boycotted!
anyways.... i went to KY to see Raven, a good friend here on DS who's been really sick. she had a party that was supposed to begin on the 25th but as usual, things didn't happen the way they were planned. so the party kicked off the following day, but i stayed back. I was waiting for Edi (my friend coming down from Chicago) who wanted to join, too. we were gonna go BUT we found out the camping grounds closed at 7 pm and most of the party was gonna leave by then so what was the point.
next day i went to Mammoth cave with Edi and holy cow that was amazing! then the following day we took Raven to Barren Lake river and Barren Lake Dam. i was disappointed at the lake because we were supposed to go to the beach out there but i didn't know that it was still under water from the left over flooding. the beach house was up to the tip of it's roof in water and was closed off. well at least i got some good pics of the cave and the dam, right?
Las Vegas was 110 degs when i got there!!! holy crap! i waited till the sun went down before venturing out, and even then, it was 101 and that's the coolest it would get the rest of the night! if any of you have seen the pirate ship show down on the strip, they have changed it. there isn't any sword fighting anymore, and they also took the Englishman out and replaced em with french whores (literally). it's as if Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears got a hold of the show and made a do-over to suit their tastes! the girls are in G-strings and hardly have anything holding their "melons" and they do these dances shakin their asses everywhere with feathers and whips! the parents that brought kids had to cover their eyes! man, i have to say i really liked the sword fighting better (more exciting). dancing french whores on a pirate ship was just weird and wrong.
ok well... i landed 10 pm Thursday night. and i've never been happier to be home!!! i have to say with all honesty, there's nothing like living in Hawaii, hands down! i LOVE this place! when i got off the plane, if my back wasn't killing me at the time, i would have got down on the ground and kissed it!!
btw, when i got home i realized that i lost another 7 lbs. + 15 lbs lost earlier this year = 22 lbs! this aint good. i need to gain some back. i don't like being this skinny.
ok friends.... bare with me, i'm still catching up with your journals and stuff..... xoxox
