Back at work
Last night's sleep was...confusing. Have you ever had one of those nights when you're not sure if you actually slept at all? It's like I was peripherally awake most of the night, but it passed so quickly that I must have slept at some point, too. When the alarm went off at 6 I thought it should be 2am! But I was awake so I got up and am at work now. At least I conquered my dread of work enough to get in today. Gotta get some work done soon, too, at least the "end of the year" paperwork that I forgot before break.
I saw the doc yesterday about my fall and she says it's heart thing, but not dangerous. I've had rapid weight loss over the last few months and my heart hasn't caught up. I have no blockages and my heart is still trying to pump hard to get through what used to be there. She says it should even out reasonably soon, so here's hoping she's right. In the meantime, EKG is normal, blood work is normal except for iron, so I'll add a supplement. Now to manage that crazy thing called life-work balance. Ha!

Yeah, I\'ve had those nights when I was sure I hadn\'t slept all night. Maybe a dozed here and there, but I remember seeing the clock all night long. Sorry to hear you had a night like that. I\'m sorry about your fall too. I have those sometimes. They really suck. Much love.
Thanks, hon! I refuse to look at the clock in the middle of the night. It just makes it harder to sleep for me. Sweet dreams!
I felt that way for a couple of years! I rarely dreamed, etc. Thankfully that is better overall. I don\'t think I knew that you fell - I hope you are ok and it was just a minor glitch with the changes your heart is going through. Congrats on getting to work - and I hope you get some closure on that and disability soon.
