Babbling...
Day 2 of Letrozole and other than being lonely, all is well. DH is out of town visiting his parents at their camp trailer. I was due to go with him, but AF arrived just in time to stop me. Unfortunately the morning after he left, AF disappeared completely! But, we didn't have anyone to watch/feed the cat for the 3 days, so I couldn't have gone anyway.
I was reading the list of side effects on the pamphlet included in the box of Letrozole (since I actually got the box this time and not just the packet of pills shoved into a pill bottle) and had to laugh at some of them. Three of the side effects are Depression, Insomnia and increased Anxiety. What do I suffer from normally? Depression, Insomnia and Anxiety! When I told DH, he laughed and said I'm now officially allowed to use the "The world hates me" statement. We both can't get over the fact that the ONE medication I take in order to overcome my most pressing depression trigger is compounding my depression!
Then I realized that the fact I can LAUGH at this tidbit of information means I've come a long way in my depression. Before I started CBT, this information probably would have made me cry, but now I can see the funny side of it.
I don't have much more to say, it's been a quiet week thus far for me. I'm just hanging out at home, packing and hoping I don't get hot flashes with this round of Letrozole. I hope all of you ladies are having a good day/week!

Glad that you can laugh at things - I\'m sure it is a big improvement from before :) . Enjoy your quiet week!
Being able to laugh at it is a HUGE step! I hope you enjoy your quiet house a bit while DH is away!
Laughter is the best medicine right? Femara did not give me hot flashes like Clomid. It did, however, give me headaches. Overall the side effects seemed better than dreadful clomid. Good luck!
GGGRRRR I hate when the side effects are emo crap. I have enough of that on my own, thank you very much. But sometimes it helps to know that it\'s the meds doing it and not your own body. Hang in there, it\'s only a few days.
Thanks ladies. DH returns tomorrow around lunch time, so my \'me\' time will be over. As nice as having alone/me time is, I\'m bored and want my DH home lol.
The Letrozole gave me hot flashes over the last 2 cycles, so I\'m waiting for them to happen again. I only ever get a few hot flashes, so I\'m ok with that.
Laughter is good. I feel better knowing that a lot of my down turns were related to the meds. I don\'t know why knowing that makes me feel better, but it does. :)
