BUGS
I am really overloaded right now! I'm in the midst of moving; making arrangements with movers, truck rental, arranging for storage, repair people, going through old boxes, packing packing packing..... I have this big master list of everything I have to do each day to be ready..... Did I say the word "overwhelmed"? I am, but doing that big list helps cut the overwhelmed feeling down to size. I just have to keep my eye on the list, and on the task at hand and not look at everything else looming around me. I went out to the storage shed this morning and opened a cardboard box that held some old ceramic items i had wrapped in newspaper that i hadn't looked into for about 5 yrs........out ran hundreds or maybe thousands of huge black beetles, each about an inch long. It looked like something from an Indiana Jones movie. As you might guess, I jumped back about 3 feet, and OK, I admit it....shrieking. The bugs had decided the lovely newspaper tunnels in the box made the ideal nest for their own little bug empire......I have never been so grossed out in my life....I had even bug-bombed the shed before going in there due to the happy colony of big black widow spiders that live in there I already knew about....the last time I opened the shed door, two huge black widows came running out.....but I ran faster!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I didn't even touch one of those bugs, I feel creepy-crawly all over! Needless to say, those ceramic pieces are lost forever! I have never ever ever been so grossed out in my life!!!! Everything in that shed is getting thrown away!!!!! My bf went out and bought a shovel and more bug spray so we can get rid of those boxes.....(totally looking forward to this......NOT) I have this great outfit on....pant legs tucked into knee socks into boots.....two shirts buttoned up....sleeves tucked into long rubber gloves and another pair over those... a scarf wrapped over my hair, around my neck and tied in back.....what can I say....a space suit is not available....OK, I'm trying to laugh about this, people! Please pray that I survive this ordeal. I HATE BUGS...........except lightning bugs and lady bugs, which are cool...... So.....can't wait to finish this move.....this one is a doozie... xoxoxo Dianne

Hmmmm......I\'m thinking about adding a motorcycle helmet with the face shield down.....yeah........
Sounds creepy - I hate bugs and mice -- this tells us now much we need all that stuff we keep stored up. Hope you get it all done quickly and out of your way. Good Luck
Try to think about it this way.....at least the bugs were at the place you are leaving behind instead of the one you are going to. Things can easily be replaced. I know....I HATE bugs too! Good job on the big list and keeping everything organized. I hope the remainder of the move is much mellower for you.
I\'ll have to start calling you the \"Bug Blaster\". I don\'t like bugs either, they make my skin crawl, but if I had a choice between bugs or mice.. I would choose bugs. I have a hazmat suit I could send you...LOL... comes complete with it\'s own respirator. You do have a lot to do, the list helps.. but soon you will be done, the move will be over and you can sit back and relax.
\"Laughing here \'..sorry but that is tooo funny to imagine your \'\'quarentine outfit\'....Now about those ceramic pieces. \'they can be washed to get rid of \'eggs \'Okay.. lol... IN our neck of the woods we call those lightening bugs \'\'fire \'flies\'\' lol .. Now \'black widow spiders \'eek. \'\'Packing up to unpacking \'is not for the faint of heart.. and I have never seen people \'enjoying moving day \'\'close to divorce yes.. lol.\'Would rate in the \'category of parking a trailer \'\'lol. with help..
Keep a nice bottle of \'wine on \'cool. Your going to need it \'\'lol\'\'.. \'I moved so many times.. I got to like it \'\'lol gypsy lady here. ;but as I get older \'I look ahead at \'stress.. Suggestion ,, don\'t look ahead lol .\'YOU Go Girl. Normal to feel overwhelmed . lol . sorry \'\'; but hey long as you keep undies and bra handy ,, you got it made. ; but be careful what you toss in purse=story.. I put an alarm clock in purse \'had to go into store to purchase some things (curtains \'I think) as I was cashing out the dam alarm clock started ringing \'\'Duhhhhhhhhhhhh....oopsie...glad it was battered and well used looking ...lol ..

EWWWWWWWW!! I am SO with you on hating bugs! I\'m so sorry you have to help clean out that shed...I would rather shove nails under my fingernails than do that! I\'d like to send you a biohazard suit, but I don\'t think the hospital would appreciate me stealing it :)
Love, Julie
What a little fashoin statement you made there. LOL... sorry I know this is not funny to you. Me neither.... I hate creepy crawly things. I\'ve got the creeps just thinking about it. Take this move like you do your recovery one day at time. Soon it will be over and you will be enjoying your new place. Peace and Love. PAtty
I have one question: can this shed be burned to the ground? If not, just go...beetles? black widow spiders? The spiders alone would have spurred me to move...even if I hadn\'t seen \'em, just their presence ...yep, that would have done it. Tell that bf to do it all; off with the suit!! Bugs are the epitome of scary...run, Dianne, run...
No other post will generate as much activity...lots of bug phobic people here ..hehe
hugs and wishing you a bug-free move...
love, Brigette
I think you should attach a picture of your stylish new outfit. LOL I know I hate all creepy crawly things, snakes being my #1 scary thing but bugs and spiders come in at #2. Hopefully the rest of your move will be uneventful. Stay safe
Hugs

Oh no, Dianne!! You painted quite a picure of those black beetles coming out - Yuk!!! Yes an Indiana Jones movie would be an appropriate analogy. Well as others have said - one day at a time and it WILL be over soon. :]
Take care, Sistah!

arrrrrrrrrrrrgh! You said the B word - I am now officially terrified. I HATE bugs. Here in Oz we have these enormous Cochroaches and they are not the \"dirty\" type, they are just your garden friendly type but about 3 inches long and sometimes longer and THEY FLY!!!! - I am often found shrieking!!! - hope you get it sorted.
Love to you - Suzi
