Busy!

OK, I knew the lazy days would end soon but not this soon! My husband needed me to help him on a BIG job!  It was a large house on what he says is a floating slab! That means a lot more drilling in and outside the house to treat for termite prevention! I moved things away from the walls so he could drill and then after he pumped termiticide in the holes I hammered plugs in each one of them!  That's alot of squats and my thighs are killing me! OUCH! And if you think I had the sence to rest, guess again! While I was going about my day trying to not do anything that would aggarvate my sore thighs I noticed that the grass in the back yard was getting so high and thick with the hot days and the good rains we've been getting that waiting another day would be really hard on my husband to try and squeeze in the time to cut it! So in a mad moment of concern for him I quickly got myself slathered in sunsceen and ran out there to the lawn mower before I could come to my sences! I was over 2/3rds done when he came home to get ready for night school and I just knew he was there and staring at me! I looked up to the biggest smile of surprise on his face! Well that really makes my day! He thanked me profusely and said he never would have expected me to have the strength or the will after how hard I worked yesterday! Me neither! LOL!  And guess what? So far so good! I am more tired but not any more sore than I already was!   I can only thank God for getting through another hard day! I really enjoy being able to do my share of all the hard work there is in taking care of a home and making a good living! I can only pray that there are more of these days left in me when my husband needs me! There have been too many times that my husband is asked why I don't have a job! He knows I have more bad days than good, especially in the summer heat! But yeaterday was cooler or should I say less hot! LOL! Anyway it makes him feel that they think he is making excuses for my laziness! Only we both know I have never been lazy! But these people see me and see how young I look for my age and can't see the pain and hives to name a few of my problems. We don't think we should have to explain our private matters to them! Why does it always seem that everyone thinks that even if you have children u should have another job too!  Well my children were grateful for me staying home and see no reason for me to start a job now and I am happy they feel that way! I do want to have extra income but we wont starve if I don't have my own job! Even when my children were small and I was on welfare for a few years they never went hungry and my lights were always on!  I have always known how to live within my means and don't think my children suffered for it but benifited from it! They never complained about the cheap clothes or toys they got! Or why they couldn't have what all the other kids had! I am greatful for the children God blessed me with! May all my friends have a happy, safe and painless day! : )

Hi my friend! I know how you feel . My children never went without. I was the one who did without. I slept on a mattress on the floor for many years. I made sure they had plenty to eat every day. I work hard when they were growing up. My son doesn\'t know what it is to do without anything. His dad still enables him. Ive learned to keep my mouth quiet. We all have to do what needs to be done. I went to my liver doctor today and he said I\'m doing great. I will see hime again in 6 mo. God Bless you for the strength yo have. Love ya\' Suzanne

It does feel nice to have productive days once in a while. Enjoy them when they come, each and every minute. My good days, like yours, are limited and few and far between.

As far as what other people think - to hell with them. They really aren\'t friends if they are so narrow minded, blind and judgmental. Actually, they are very selfish individuals, thinking only of themselves and not other people\'s feelings.

Big Hug to YA.
