b from down the road claims they don't trap animals & she had cancer//stopped by the other house
creepy strange day so far. went on my walk, or tried to, very difficult in the heat. ran into others doing the same as well as the woman who's mother owns buildings around here. she said her mother has something wrong, where she sees people that aren't there. i said maybe she does? like a ghost or something? her mother is very old, she says its called something and they were told to agree with her. maybe her mother is psychic. lol. who knows. the woman is very skinny - she says she is ill, she is on photosenstive medication and recently beat cancer. i didn't even know this. generally, if anything happens around here my neighbor along with a few others around in this area, always blame this woman and her husband so you don't know what to think. i still don't know what to think.
she wanted me to see that she has a pet cat along with her dog, which is a labrador - age ten. the cat looks to be about 15 pounds, so obviously fed well. she says someone up the road also feeds it and someone on the next road down from her adopted its sister. she also wanted me to know that the kitten on the posters was found hit by a car, but she didn't tell the person missing it yet. there is still a grey one missing for over a week, and the odor of death was a different location than she was explaining. it was by the yard next to where the surfer dude lives. very sad. i said this to c and she says, some people leave out chicken bones and that can kill animals. that is true actually.
this woman claims they only put traps out one time ten years ago and they didn't realize that the pound KILLS the animals that they trap. the animal people can "say" they don't kill, because they are bringing it to a place that will do the actual kill, they aren't the ones actually injecting it or gassing it themself. she says she didn't know this. she sounded very sincere?
disgusting, all the death all over the place. can't they just STOP.
i said this to my other neighbor and she got really mad and said everything this woman is saying is a total lie, that even five years ago there were traps all around -- the other neighbor says as near as three years ago and then the rant begins blaming this couple. they all blame this couple all the time. the entire time i have lived here (almost eight years) this couple has been blamed for every trap, every animal missing, every death, its kind of scary that people do that. in fact the first year we were here, the woman renting the house behind my neighbor claimed this couple did this to her and that they ripped her off etc., she had a LOT to say. the woman, helen, who used to rent one of the apartments in a complex this couple's mother owns, on the corner who is a friend of alma, and both women were involved in tnr before any of us even knew what that was, claimed the same thing. helen moved away because of it. so don't know what to think. its creepy and confusing when that happens. who do you believe? who do you trust? you don't know.
NO ONE has ever mentioned that this couple was battling cancer and that it was the woman who was having surgery for cancer. not one person. so then g says, well, she just got a cat 3 years ago, and that probably changed her tune a LOT. its different when you have one. you know, its not the work and expense of helping animals that makes people stop helping, its dealing with the rest of the crap from the humans.
with the small house behind w, she says they bought it ten years ago and it sat for many years for sale and no one bought it. they didn't buy it out from under others. lora claimed it was a crack house while it was for sale and people avoided it and the house was a wreck when she rented it. and she was the one who fixed it up. who knows. so many greviences when you are in a small area like this and so much gossip. wow! she says, its not old age, making him tell stories all the time, he always told stories - total whoppers. g said the same thing. some people do that. jf used to do that, but he was worse, he blatantly lied about people and should have been sued and put away for it, because a lawsuit may have made him stop lying. but NOTHING happening as a result of his lying, just made him behave worse and worse and worse, until nobody could stand being around him. he was guilty of way more than just lying alllll the time and even he was stunned at how much he got away with, but had no conscience at all about it. amazing.
so it was very creepy, because i have no idea WHAT to think at all. eight years of stories from everyone else is a lot to deal with. the cancer is what threw me. all this time she had cancer and no one says a word? ran into g right after that. she says she doesn't think g should drive anymore because he forgets things so easily now. i really need to sign up for gerontology classes so i can understand this phase of life. i suggested she do tnr over where she is. she is in a good location for it.
i mentioned this over by the beach, and the woman who's son is a lawyer in washington, d.c. had a fit and said the woman is telling allll lies. she is from this area originally. she raised her kids here. they own houses down the road, closer to the beach. they do tnr down where her house is and she also blames this same couple for setting traps. does this couple know how many people are against them? that all by itself is creepy. wonder if that is why both women on the corners moved. too much drama. its intrusive. you want to rest and just BE when you are home, you don't want drama of any sort. that is why most people prefer their pets over the humans in their lives. i was totally amazed when i read that.
