b-day party.... and wow of a Sunday!!!
Hello everyone. We had the b-day party on Saturday for my step-sister, Melissa. We all had a great time, and she really enjoyed her gifts and everything, so that was great. Yesterday.... as some of you knew, I was able to go out with my BEST FRIEND and her husband. I only get to see her once a year (if that) and it'd been 12 1/2 years since i'd seen him, so I was WAY EXCITED!! We had an absolute BLAST together. First, we stopped to eat dessert (forget about lunch...haha) and then we went to an organ concert featuring cello and violin soloists. Beautiful music. Then, while Pastor (her husband) went to will call to get the tickets for the Opera Selections concert, my friend and I went and ate salads together, and just talked. The opera selections concert was fabulous, and the tenor soloist was someone i sang with back in elementary school, so it was awesome to hear him. Anyways, after plenty more chatting on the ride home, we prayed together and said goodbye. What a BLESSED DAY!!!!!!!!! PS.... took a few steps without the cane last night too!! And, walked the ramps and stairs with no difficulty!!
