In addition, medicated oils like Mahanarayan oil, Mahamash oil and Mahasaindhav oil are used for local application on the skin, followed by a medicated steam fomentation of Dashmool Qadha (decoction) and Nirgundi Qadha.
To treat the immune dysfunction, medicines like Bruhat-Vat-Chintamani, Suvarna-Malini-Vasant, Maha-Yograj-Guggulu, Suvarna-Sameerpannag-Ras, Trivanga-Bhasma, Abhrak-Bhasma, Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Bala (Sida cordifolia) and Nagbala (Grewia hirsuta) are used. When used on a long term basis, these medicines can prevent recurrence of this disease.

The gentian root is amazing!!! I discovered it years ago while working with an herbalist. It is the most bitter of bitters. I can\'t stand the taste but my digestive system is glad for it. I wish I could find the powdered form but I hear that it doesn\'t work as well. They type of destress yoga I practice is Ayurvedic and I love it. Thanks for the info.
