Had a delightful and delicious experience at Ripples last night. Would highly recommend the Lamb Rump and green beans. This cafe is super convenient for work, but I admit I used to avoid it as the coffee wasn’t great. I don’t know what they’ve done but these days, the coffee is much improved, and the service is always friendly.
As for wine, it is a hero piece at Le Foote with 300+ bottles on show from Europe's sunniest spots . There's also a banana daiquiri queued up on the cocktail list—which has us wondering if the daiquiri making a comeback. At any rate, if you aren't doing Euro summer this year, it sounds like Le Foote will be the cure to your FOMO. Pont Brasserie is the final jewel in the crown for InterContinental Sydney's recent makeover.
This is one of the best restaurants with playgrounds on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. The fabulous Hotel Pennant Hills features an indoor playground with a mini trampoline, four slides. They often have a bouncy castle and other kids’ entertainment on weekends too! You will also find a gelato bar, baby high chairs, and kids’ party packages. You can drive or travel by boat to Church Point, take the ferry or enjoy a scenic walk along Pittwater’s foreshore to get to this kid-friendly cafe with stunning water views.
On-street parking is not available Monday to Friday within easy walking distance of the University. Just a 5-minute train ride over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge from the Sydney city centre, the North Sydney Campus is conveniently located in the North Sydney business precinct. Italian food just tastes better with water views, and everything is a 10/10 at Alessandro Pavoni's Ormeggio at the Spit. The cuisine is modern French with a focus on seafood, and you can opt for a set menu from $155, with vegan and vegetarian diners looked after as well.
Bouillon l’Entrecôte takes a nod from the original “Le Relais de l’Entrecôte”, the famous one-dish steakhouse that opened in 1959 in Porte Maillot, Paris. Think premium sirloin steak served with a salad, home-cut fries and a secret sauce – a true French speciality. In line with a French bouillon, the restaurant will fit comfortably between Bistro and a Brasserie, offering great food for a reasonable price, along with a ground-floor wine bar featuring French wines and Jazz music. Authenticity is at the heart of the restaurant, going beyond just the menu.

This little hole in the wall shop has amazing food! I was initially sceptical about the size of my Gyro and chips which I bought in a large combo for $20.50 however it was more than enough to fill me right up.
Swillhouse, the hospitality group behind Restaurant Hubert, The Baxter Inn, and Alberto's Lounge, has finally openedLe Foote—and it's been a long time coming. The group first announced they would be taking on the historic Phillip’s Foote pub in The Rocks in October 2021. It was the end of Sydney's months-long lockdown, and the group hosted a brief summer pop-up in the venue to celebrate.

Located at St Peter's Green in suburban Lane Cove North, this modern Sydney café serves up some mean brekkie that aims to satisfy every one of your tastebuds.
