Autoimmune disorders?

Hi,

I'm new to this site, but have a question for anyone who's had radiation treatment or had their thyroid removed. I've recently been dignosed with several autoimmune diseases that previously there was no sign of. I was given every kind of test there is trying to discover the reason for my illness, but since surgery I've been diagnosed with several autoimune diseases and wonder if others are also experincing this as a result of losing the thyroid or perhaps the radiation?
