I can't believe how fast this summer is going. The Erie County fair is now overwith so now its time to wind down the summer. This week its suppose to be in the upper 80's and sunny.
I am in the 3rd week of my anthropology class and beginning to write yet another paper for this class too. Its going ok, I am passing the quizzes. I am averaging a B in the class. The instructor (no teach assist) is a lawyer. She has a lot of feedback on the discussions. We all know how these lawyers can be, alittle ultra critical. We shall see what this 1st revision comes out probably tomorrow.
Work is going ok. The big meeting with Children's hospital is now over with so I can now relax. Im glad its done too. I was alittle stressed out alittle bit this week. I did have 1 chart that I was unable to locate in my piles that they asked for but I was able to redeem my self and find the rest of them as requested. It was a death chart, Dr Riley had all of them and gave them back to me in the AM. I didn't check to see if I had all the charts against the list. Oh well. No one seemed too concerned (except for the director of nursing, I received a "scrowling" look, but I regained my composure). Can't believe its been almost 5 months. October 19 is coming so quickly, that is my 1 year anniversary since I was let go of my other job.
The dating forfront has been going "ok". I let go of a few other guys along the way - a chef from Niagara Falls, we hit it off but it was only a "one hit wonder" date. Nothing came of it. Kinda fizzled on his end. I really liked him but he didn't want to give me the time of day so I gave up. I had few other dates that just died too. 1 guy from Wheatfield, he was nice we went for ice cream but there was no spark (on his side too). Another guy from Wheatfield (who was an accountant). thought we hit it off, had a nice conversation for 3 hours over a few drinks but he never bothered to contact me after that. We were suppose to have a date that one saturday but he never contacted me. I didn't make any plans because I thought we would be seeing eachother. I still don't know what happened there. I had another date with an IT profession from Akron, NY. He seemed nice, we hit it off the 1st date, the second - had dinner at his place. Started to show his true colors because he seemed pretty upset if I didn't say or do something he liked (ex: I put my purse in the laundry room table, he wanted me to put it on top of the shelf above his washer and got pissy at me = Jeez). He did tell me that he doesn't always get his texts at the right time. The next day, I simply asked him "what are you up to now?". He took it real personal. He said "Im gulfing, I told you!!". I was really pissed (I even said the "F" word in the middle of one of the isles). but couldn't answer him because I was food shopping. Later on, as I was unpacking the food in my kitchen - I get this text stating that "this isn't gonna workout, I see no chemistry" I was pretty pissed because I thought we had a connection. I texted him back stating "you are being wayyyy too sensitive, ok, thats what you want. I am very dissappointed". Lost his #, took him off my POF listing - So he is out of the picture. Another guy came in the picture (he is sort of around still, not too sure for how long though). He is in medical sales and lives in North Tonawanda and recently moved back from Syracuse a few weeks ago. 3 kids, divoraced. Nice guy - seems to talk about history a lot, his job and where he grew up in clarence. We had a few dates. He has his kids most of the week so I probably won't be hearing too much from him. Thats ok. I will just stay back, not bother him this week and let this play out. I am still unclear as to where this is heading. He seems to like me and we are very compatable. I think if this does not pan out, I am taking a long break from online dating. This is getting way to stressful right now. I have already stopped getting replies from other guys and I won't be searching them out either. I am keeping these dates local and not interested in any long term relationship with anyone. My friend Jen met some guy from NYC and he is coming up for her birthday in about a few weeks. Not sure if I can do what she is doing. I have done it before quite a few times in the past. Hell, I almost married a guy from Delaware. LOL!!
Anyways, I am still rollerblading a lot. Trying to get things lined up for my Fall/Winter/spring exercise. I may do one of 2 things or both: Join back to the wed night running group (for the fall and spring) and run 2 miles or join an exercise kickboxing/bootcamp exercise aerobic group. We shall see what happens. I plan on making that decision in the next few weeks. I will continue to rollerblade until October 1. I want to be in excellent shape come next summer. I would like to be back down to my regular size 12 pant size. I already feel a difference in my hips and legs with the rollerblading even though I am still a size 16.

Jeez well at least you\'re brave enough to date. I don\'t even want to touch it. Haha! Glad you\'re doing some exercise too. And I do agree that a break from dating would be a good thing if things don\'t work with the current guy. Just thinking about dating stresses me out lol. Hugs to you and take care.
Keep up the good work Jen. I am proud of you.
