At Rest
My Aunt Bernice is at rest. It was strange going out to the cemetery Where my parents are buried and I will be. There is a cement block with "Baby Son" on it next to my parents' graves. My big brother is buried there. He died shortly after birth and was never given a name. If he had lived, I wouldn't be here. It's strange to say that, but I came along because my parents wanted another child to be with Sara. Me being a son was a bonus. Vickie wasn't expected, but welcome. When Vickie came down for the service, she brought her old TV for me. It's huge! 27 inches. Compared to my old TV of 21. Mine was so old, it didn't have a remote. This one does. In my small living room, it's like having a big screen on the wall. I enjoyed it over the weekend. Now, it's time to clean up the clutter in the house. Get rid of some things. I've got to call the Salvation Army or Goodwill to pick up the old tv, a coffee table, arm chair, and printer. Getting rid of the table and chair will give me more room in the living room, but I expect I'll take something out of the computer room and put it in the living room. Maybe, the study desk. The computer is out because there aren't enough electric outlets for it. Maybe, I'll just spread things out. There's no rush.
