At my Mom's

Sorry I haven't been updating for a while... I've been at my mom's and haven't had a lot of computer time. I did get on a bit last night to reply to some journals, but that's about it. I did get some good news since I've been here- we have a car now! A 1998 Cadillac DeVille. Its cream colored on the outside and leather on the inside. It looks awesome. Geo's dad found it for us. It was only 3,300! It run beautifully and looks the same. I can't wait to try it out myself. I want to try and get my license now because now that I'm training for my half marathon, I will need to be there at 6-7am. Geo doesn't want to be waking up that early and I don't want to be a burden on him. He's done a lot of driving me around, and I don't want him to have to do that anymore. I'm not going to be doing things like driving to work when I can walk there easily, and I'm going to be walking more and more. I walked 2.25 miles yesterday. I'm kinda having a regression of my throat infection, so I'm going to keep it easy today and just stay inside. I don't know why it's coming back.. I've been taking my antibiotics like I should be... I guess when I get home I have to go to the doctor again. I sure hope I'm better by then, but I want to be safe.
Last night I slept like crap. I was up around 2am and didn't fall back asleep until about 5am. I was having stomach troubles, and the coughing kept bringing up acid into my throat. I took some Tums and ate a bit of potato and that seemed to clear it up, but then I still couldn't fall back asleep. I talked to Geo for a while around 3am. I took a klonopin, but that didn't help either. I don't know why I couldn't fall back asleep for so long. I'm going to try and take a nap soon, since the house is empty and I can rest in quiet. I have a sleep mask, so  it doesn't matter how light it is outside. I'm sleeping in a hospital bed in the middle of the living room, so you could see how sleeping might be an issue. It's not too bad, though. I just like having quiet, and it's been pretty quiet at night, even with the baby.
Oh, I got some more good news! I'm down to a size 18/20! I went to Walmart the other day and I bought two pairs of pants- one jeans and one khakis for work. I'm so excited about being down that much! I know I'm going to gain weight on this trip, but now I have clothes that are going to fit me when I lose that little bit of weight. I got down to 209 before I left. I think I'm back up to 215 now, but I'm going to still keep up with my walking once I can breathe right. I don't want to get an asthma attack or anything. I officially start training for my half marathon September 1st! I'm so excited!

It\'s tough when you are away and sick i hope you start getting better sleep soon.
Did you every have sleeping problems before with penicillin? I know sometimes that can cause a problem with some people.
Have a safe trip home.
