....at last....the skies above are blue....

Stole that one from Etta James....one of the most romantic songs out there.  Its been a long time since I've had time to update my journal.  Breaking news first....I lost my job of four years....whatdaya do in this economy.  My law firm merged with another my guess is there were just too many people and not enough BILLABLEm hours....win some, lose some. (I don't know if my attitude is due to the Paxil or the fact I'm in love for the first time ever) Tho there were some poor imitations as evidence by the existance of my two kids. Timing truly is everything!  I had talked about leaving my job to move to Montana to be with the best man ever, but its so hard to leave existing ties.....i.e. my job and my grown son. My thinking was, "Well if I ever hit the lottery I'm moving to Montana!"   I didn't hit the lottery, but I did get a pretty decent severance offer....On second thought, I DID hit the Lottery cause I'm joining lives with Larry and his wonderful family.  His Mom is the Mom I always wanted!  Now I have her!!!  My youngest son is extremely accepting of my new life (our new life) and he genuinely likes Larry.  Maybe I should be a little sad about losing a job that I turned into my identity, but I'm gaining so much more I can't be anything but grateful for the wonderful, dear friends I've made over the past four years, and for the wonderful life that I've prayed for, that I didn't think would ever happen....Its true the Lord does move in mysterious ways. A black chick from the city falling in love and sharing a life with a handsome Jewish guy from Montana!  I've gotta start writing that book.....I couldn't make this stuff up!  :o) But I am so immensely grateful.
