At Hospital all day today

I had to have my bil at the hospital at 8 am this morning for surgery scheduled for 9 am.  They didn't get started till 10:50 am.  The surgery lasted about an hour and then he was in recovery for about an hour and a half.  I didn't get home till about 4 pm.  His wife (my sister) is in the nursing home, neither of his sons were there today and his daughter was there for about 30 minutes and left before he even went to surgery and never returned.  I called her after the surgery was completed and gave her an update. 
I stopped by the nursing home and gave my sister the update concerning his surgery.  I will go back in the morning and check on him.  I have a piano concert to do Thursday at the nursing home and, Friday, I will probably bring my bil home or to the nursing home, whichever the Dr. decides.  Sat. I have to help with a charitable organization on a project for an orphanage. 
When I got home, there was a message on my answering machine, wanting me to do a wedding Oct. 1st so, I will deal with that tomorrow too.
I have a few other things I have to get done before Sat. as well so, I can be ready for Sunday, at my church.
