As one of our friends on DS Said

I never thought of it this way, but aren't we the most lucky mother's in the world to have been chosen to be the mother of our children.  Even though their life was taken too soon and our pain is so deep, what if we had not gotten to be their mother.
Of course, we would not be going through this pain, then again maybe we would have, but I would never ever take away being Ken's mom.  I  loved him, he loved me. We had a special bond as all of us do with our children.  To be Ken's mom and my other boys mom is the best I could have asked for in life, other than Ken being here with us longer.
I know each feel we have the best children in this world and the world beyond and we do, but I know I could never have had better children than I do.  They are giving, caring and loving and always give to others in need.
So even though our pain is deep and seems to hurt every minute of the day, what if we had never had the chance to be their mother.
Many years ago, I dated a famous now Nascar Racer.  One day when I told my kids they said gee mom "Why didn't you marry him, we would be rich".. I said but if I had married him,  you would not be you and I would rather have you then all the money in the world.
So even though this heartache is so indescrible, I was Kenny's mom and that I am forever greatful that God chose me to be his mom.  So Ken even though you left me way too soon, thanks for being my wonderful son.
Love, your  mom!!!!! Forever Ken's mom.
Forever, Jeffrey, Brent and Shawn's mom too!!! I love my boys!!!!!
