Tips on Decluttering.... very good article
1. Thank the objects for the purposes they served in your life.
2. when in doubt / donate instead of throw away
3. 2 sets of sheets per bed. I have 3 / 2 for summer and one for winter
4. put photos in albums / especially loose ones. That's what I did today w/ the frig
5. have only 3 items on each surface / like a dresser / 3 is a good number
6. Find a charity in town to donate things to or give away for free on Marketplace
My own notes....
7. I need to make a summer drawer and a winter drawer.
8. I need to donate some quilts that I've made and donate some sheets to charity here in town or to GW
9. I need a fresh eye. I'm thinking about having my brother come and do the decorating in my house w/ my own things. He is an interior designer. and very minimalistic in thinking
10. All books have to go to the library or GW / they don't sell on MKP
11. Label clutter free zones.... hubby has a few but I can't touch those
12. do not garage sale or GW shop.... i only collect other ppl;s clutter. Only buy what I need and what I really WANT. I deserve it.

All good ideas but I hate to get rid of my books, always think I'm going to read them again, I must have at least 100 that i have read and maybe 30 that I haven't read yet but it doesn't help that i don;t drive and would have to make quite a few trips to the library to donate them. I do have clutter and am trying a ,little at a time to get rid of some of it
I have t say though that i have 4 sets of sheets, 2 flannel for winter and 2 cotton for summer, lol
