Artists Frances Scott from Eastwood and Damien Egan from Ryde were the first to try Blue Apple’s art classes online. The art kits contain 8 weeks of materials to use during the online classes where clients connect one-to-one with their arts facilitator in real time. Beautiful calm environment for children to bring out their creative sides, we've been attending the holiday programs for years now and I'm always amazed at what the girls bring home. • Areas of the club are sectioned off for all patrons to ensure safe social distancing throughout the venue. Areas have clear markings to assist patrons in knowing where they can and cannot be situated. We again thank you for your continued support of the club and community, and we will continue to provide a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.
These include an excellent band program, a Junior Choir, Dance Group, and a Kindergarten to Year 6 ‘Wakakirri' production. Every new technique and piece of knowledge builds on the last and for each time I take a leap of faith and step outside my comfort zone and into the unknown, there is the potential to increases these skills exponentially. Harry in particular encouraged me to look and think more in terms of tone and shape – both positive and negative, rather than in terms of just outline alone. Initially I was quite daunted as everyone else seemed to be either a professional artist or professional illustrator of some form or another, but as it turned out everyone very open and friendly and offered lots of helpful tips and advice. Eastwood is represented by Robin Gibson Gallery in Sydney and is a Lecturer at UNSW Art & Design, where he teaches in the Fine Arts program and is available to supervise Higher Degree Research candidates in Masters and PhD programs. He has examined PhD candidates at ANU and Curtin University; Masters candidates at USyd, UniSA, NAS and UNSW; and Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design at ACU.
Group classes and private tuition are available as well as school holiday workshops. Adult classes, corporate workshops, school and teacher incursions are available on application. As part of our Pink Week fundraising initiatives, we hosted the McGrath Foundation PINK TRIVIA CONTEST ON THURSDAY 20 FEBRUARY AT 7pm in the Palm Court Bistro. • Our Clean Team ensures heightened cleaning throughout the club at all touch points, along with the club’s overall focus on maintaining thorough sanitation standards by all staff. • COVID Marshalls monitor the venue and may ask you to remain or to find suitable seating to assist with managing these new restrictions.
Students always enjoy playing their part in our school's production, with over one hundred participants in 2017. To continue to support client wellbeing, Blue Apple Art Studios staff have been assembling and delivering art kits to client's homes. Working with Unisson’s IT department, art lessons have gone online.

A highly skilled art teacher practitioner, with 38 years experience in Australia and UK, Mary specialises in teaching a wide range of artistic skills in all mediums . My teaching method is to start teaching from the basic foundations of art, then progressing towards more complex skills. I'm an easy going teacher, I generally encourage my students to test their comfort zones. I encourage my students to define their own art but to also respect my method of teaching.
