arrogant

Okay -  I'll admit I was going down that path of thinking "Is he using again?".  I wasn't obsessing over it or anything but some of his behavior reminded me of the using days.  The behavior I'm talking about is the arrogance of not having to follow some of the simple rules we have here at home and at school.  Wednesday he didn't go to the after-school detention (serving detentions from past behavior) and didn't come home after school either that day.  Why?  Because he didn't feel like it.   And then there was yesterday when he came home after school like he should but never came home for dinner and was out past 9:30.  The company he's been keeping is another concern.  His buddy that was with him nearly every day when he was on house arrest is no longer in the picture.  T doesn't seem to need him anymore.   And now T has a new girlfriend.  Not good,  I don't think.  The upside - he came home very sober last night.  It was evident he was clean.  So I'm going to count our blessings but......the concern is still there, especially with summer approaching........
