Hope you feel better tomorrow! I know how hard it is to wait and be frustrated with physical stuff as well as emotional crap.
Hang in there!

You have been through so much with the injury of your thumb. All of us shudder when you write about it! Hope you see someone soon and have it checked - It is hard to hear that you are in pain.
This past week has been very busy getting ready for pirates weekend starting on the 10th. Over 10,000 people arrive in costumes for the weekend - our town only has 1400!
Take good care.
This, too, shall pass.
Thinking of you with love

This is a really hard time for you and I know you are having to deal with so much stuff. Be kind to yourself today and treat yourself to something nice, like ice cream or something! take care~~~
Bob, let me tell you a TRUE story that will put a stop to your impatience with your healing injury.
In March 2009, a long time friend of mine had a horrendous accident -- long story short, her PELVIS was CRUSHED by a truck. Following three surgeries, she was confined to a hospital bed for 3 MONTHS -- with what looked like an Erector Set screwed into her hip bones. Now there is NO DOUBT in my mind that I would have had to be HEAVILY SEDATED to be still and in bed for that length of time. To this day, I have no idea how my friend got through that, but she did. She used the time to do a lot of reading and self-reflection; she got a lot closer to her God, too, and this wasn\'t the most difficult thing she had ever been through -- NO. Some 20 years earlier, she had caught her husband cheating with one of their employees and he left her with two small children to raise by herself.
Whenever I think I got handed a raw deal, I don\'t have to think too hard to realize that I got off fairly easy in comparison to someone else. BE GRATEFUL that your injury wasn\'t more serious or life-threatening. I am sure there is a \"lesson\" in all of this for you. We don\'t always understand what the lesson is at the time, but sooner or later (and probably later) it will be revealed to you and then you will go \"Aaaa HAH! So THAT was it!\"
Hugs to you.
