are most people with ocd self centered ?

my  gf  has ocd. i have been noticing as time goes on that she is very self centered.
even when there is something i am doing for me ,she cuts in and changes the conversation(even with others around)  with her issues. as an example of something recent: i was planning a memorial for my mother in the beginning of december.when she heard this she immediately stated that she was going to make something for her mother that was not until  3 months later. when i order in a restaurant  she cuts in while i am giving my order and  talks to the wait person about her order. even though i always let her order hers  first.  it is very frustrating  when the focus is always on her. and irritating when i cannot get a word in in almost any conversation. how do you deal with  situations like this ? i  am getting at the end of my  ability to deal with someone like this.
